The irony here, that this song was written in response to an offer to appear in a margarine ad, covered with the shit. All these years later, John Lydon appeared in a British Butter commercial, but used the money to get his other band, Public Image Limited, back out on the road. Life is strange; All we're left with, in the end is the tunes. :)
