i wonder if you can get the tv versions on dvd i used to love the theme tune and music that went with the clips brilliant as i do have def inative collection but its all different although fantastic and i have dvd h/lloyds world of comedy but thats aslo different so anyone have the tv versions.
Very good ! Have some of the original HL tv shows on video somewhere. Your right show was shown on BBC2 same time as the BBC1 news used to be on so I always had to make sure I got to the tv remote first b4 my dad did ! Hooray 4 Harold.
I just found this video by searching for my friend Harold. I love him from old but I have to say your video is brilliant. I have told my wife that when the summer comes I am going re create a scene from his films and put it on here. Well done pard. Brilliant
Strange...that was on my mind after my 'Harold Lloyd' dream sometime ago, that Hollywood would one day make a Harold Lloyd movie, complete with the cute black kid...you took the words out of my mouth (and mind).
OMG, some people just have too much time on their hands! But i take my hat off to you- you made me larf.......used to love Harold Lloyd as a kiddiwink..x
@SAda940 He deserves better than what normally gets churned out of Hollywood these days. He wasn't just a great coedic actor, he helped design the stunts, pioneering a lot of techniques that are still used today.
I think i used to watch Harold Lloyd when i came in from school about tea time,i also remember watching the original Flash Gordon during summer holidays, happy days :)
Gawd, I had completely forgotten about 'Harold Lloyd' Strangely..until just last night when I 'out-of-the-blue' suddenly dreamt about Him! complete with this TV theme song!! Bizarrely, I was him...parachuting out of the Big Ben in London with the the name 'Harold Lloyd' on the parachute! and I was blown up-wards and got somehow stuck on the Parliment House in London! somewhere near the London Bridge. But, I understand Harold Lloyd is an American creation.
I remembered this tune as I used to watch all the Harold Lloyd films, I think they were on Saturdays in the UK. Harold Lloyd was as good as Chaplain, Laurel & Hardy and Buster Keaton in my opinion. You look a lot like him.
Its the harold lloyd tv theme tune..it was a show we had here in the uk on tv in the 80s,.It was a clip show that showed some of harold lloyds funniest and dangerous bits from his movies..i got the theme tune from the internet and just put some footage from harold lloyd movies with it.
Actually I also saw it in Latin America. It was all over the world. I remember the song and I used to watch the show too. At the time it caught my attention in the mid 80's. And I always looked forward to the show. I loved the show! and the song is wonderful too I wish I could download it.
hi mary im humbled by your words thats a compliment to remember thank you. so my knee is fine yes i had keyhole surgery and i believe it all went well...and as soon as the weather picks up this end i shall back out there doing it all again..
lol no i didnt write that catchy tune..wish i had !! it was used on the tv show that was on in the eighties here in the uk..it was just a clip show really showing harolds best bits..
A remarkably difficult bit of music to hunt down, I've found, aside from a lousy Realmedia file from TVCream. A shame they never wrote a second verse. I could swear that what they are singing, however, is "dig that style".
Channel 4,do your research!!

Fun stuff! If you ever do more, try speeding it up, the key to that old stuff is the absurdity of the pacing.

I won't do impostors, I will save myself for the real thing (Harold, come back - all is forgiven - ).
