  • who played for the NHL team here? Also is the game they talked about in the movie Miracle?

  • NHL destroyed ....know your place :D hockey is not your game

  • Rutherford '77,Cheevers '79, and Liut '81 had to be the worst goalies that Canada ever had in net against the Russians. Dryden '72 and '75 was up there too in the top 5 worst goalies against the Russians.

  • The USSR had the advantage over everyone with one job all year. That was Hockey.

Plus they had 200 Million people to choose. The Canadians and the Czechs had other Jobs through the year.

Yet it is amazing that with only the partial part of the year the Canadians and Czechs worked with Hockey, how very good both Countries were with only 15-20 Million People to choose from

  • Sore loser Russian cock sucker lovers always try to say the Canadian and Americans were lucky in 1972 and 1980. The Canadians did not even have their best Players ever in the 1972 Series. The Americans did not even have Pro Players in the 1980 Olympics. Yet the Russians got away with sending their NHL Version of their best Players to the Olympics and World Championships every year from the 1950s all the way until the end of the 1980s. What unfair bullshit that was.

  • Ken Dryden,Gerry Cheevers, and Mike Liut were the worst ever Canadian Goalies against the Russians.

  • @BBQFanNo1 - 76 Flyers game against the (Ussr), was a good example of "Organized Crime" at work.

It's time the players come clean & fess up about the Ref. prior to game time, poking his head in the Flyers dressing room & said;.. "Don't forget boys, I am Canadian too"!

Moose Dupont said to at least one guy, "If they did to us, what we did to them, we would have left the ice also!"

Russia would NEVER loose to a bunch of MORONS with un-biased officials!

FES UP BOYS, FES SUP!! 35 yrs. has passed

  • Hey everyone! If you really love the way in which the Soviets palyed hockey, then you must read the book: MAGICIANS ON ICE It details and explains how this amazing dynasty began. It ia must read for anyone who loves Soviet hockey!

  • What was Cheevers doing in that game? It was Don Cherry's decision and it was the wrong one.

  • Good game !

Russia as usual showed to Canada who is a King on ice.

    BTW

I like canadians excuses. Please posted it here.

I have huge collections of that

  • @wg390 The gold medal is too damn bright i couldn't see your whole comment.

  • That last sentance. Very true. Always has, and always will be.

  • @BBQFanNo1

    What are you talking about?

So the Soviets lost game 1 on purpose?

And what do the Sabres and Flyers have to do with this?

  • They still do the same thing today we witnesses in the World Junior Tournament when they came back in each game down by 2 or 3 goals.

  • Cheevers looks like he was on another one of his many totally impaired alcoholic drinking binges in this game.

  • Dryden always sucked against the Russians in net. Dryden except for the last game in '72 almost always played like a sib in goal against the Russians. He played like that against the Bruins in '77,'78,and '79 they would have killed him in every game.

  • ugly dirty canadiens vs red hot RUSSIAN players!!!!!!!

  • LOL did you see the RUSSIA VS CANADA JUNIOR GOLD MEDAL GAME 2011, RUSSIA DESTROYED CANADA ..5 goals in 15 mins

  • These games decided NHL, (US and Cabda), to start paying of referees and planning impossible travel schemes for all opposing teams etc.... All this to ensure that not the best teams should win but an north-american one... This is still actually going on, for instance in the ongoing Youth World Cup.

  • @limehills This is true, but people like Tikhonov are to blame for allowing Canadians to do this and not setting their own strong terms.

  • @limehills So you are saying the NHL fixed this series to lose to better promote the Russians and Europeans to come and play in the NHL market. Smoke another wacky tabacky one man,Lol. The NHL was for real. They did not take a loss dive in this series. The Russians won for real too.

  • why was Russia better at ice hockey back when they were the USSR?

  • @PLERKTA

"why was Russia better at ice hockey back when they were the USSR?"

Better (and more complete) players, better system, and better coaching.

  • @PLERKTA beacuse they had a army team, millitary hockey players it was orders.

  • @PLERKTA

There were not better then, the trained together much more often. That was the Soviet edge,.

  • @PLERKTA

because Lithuanians played in ussr team

  • @FEaRisTAz

Ohhh please kiss your Lithuanians player asses and be happy

Another fucking specialist from Lithuania explained to whole world why is Lithuania are the best in hockey!

    Please STF

  • @PLERKTA They had a much larger talent pool to select from. I heard a statement once that there were 1,000,000 amateur hockey players in the greater Moscow area in the peak of Soviet Union (ie 1980). Not sure how accurate that figure is might be an overstatement. Today in Russia there are about 100,000 amateur hockey players. Proof that the communists made sure amateur sport was richly funded.

  • @PLERKTA because way back when they would punish their player for losing.

  • Comment removed

  • @PLERKT because the soviets had an excellent way of finding talent in their 300 million people in their country.

  • @PLERKTA beause losing was punishable by death, jk and i am from former ussr

  • @halflifemasta LOL C'mon it wasn't as bad as North Korea

  • it really shouldn't surprise anyone that the soviets won this. whenever there's an "allstars v.s (insert team here)" match, the allstars always lose. why? because when you play on a team for a while, you develop a chemistry with the other players. you learn their strengths and weaknesses and how to utilize them. when allstars who don't normally play together are on a team, they don't fair well. Why do you think the NHL lost to the soviets but the Flyers didn't?

  • @PLERKTA i'm russian fan, but i agree with 100%. fuck the flyers

  • @PLERKTA

The Flyers played against the Soviet national team once and they lost (watch?v=HpNWPefulhQ).

Stop with the allstar team excuses. This was not a regular allstar game. Many players on team NHL were linemates or teammates. In the pregame talk it was said that chemistry and practice time will not be a problem for team NHL.

And the Soviet team also had many players who had not played together.

  • @unnamed00 yeah....that's kind of an ostentious victory, though, as much as everyone love to glorify it. The reason the Russians left tghe ice was it was fairly obvious that the officials weren't going to call any penalties on the Flyers, at all. Pretty easy to draw conclusions that the game was not on the level, especially when the play by play announcer admits it! "We had to take it back in 72' (half-true), but they're leaving!" (to be continued...)

  • @unnamed00 part 2...In 72' there was certainly foul play off of the ice when the NHL'ers got to Russia- no question. However in the Flyers' game, there was definitely foul play on the ice. Additionally, in 72' Bobby Clarke got away wityh intentionally injuring the Russians' best player. Let's face it, game manipulation goes on all of the time in the major sports, but it is easier to see clearly in retrospect, if you look at the entire games critically

  • @PLERKTA Keep in mind that Soviet teams (not the national team mind you) dominated NHL teams almost every single Super Series... The Soviet teams won 14 of the 18 times, and two of the others were ties... Those were not "all-star" teams... so that excuse is not really valid.

  • ussr team is#1 forever

  • @pilatois pussy

  • Such was the depth and breadth of talent of the Soviets at the time, no less than 14 elite players were not able (injury or otherwise) to be part of the line-up for the Challenge Cup: Fetisov, Maltsev, Yakushev, Prirodin, Belousov, Drozdetsky, Liapkin, Shalatov, Gusev, Volchov, Bokov, Lebedev, Bodunov, and Vikulov. What a great team!

  • Thanks for this great video!!! As a Canadian, I'm so embarassed by the nationalist crap that is spewed by my fellow citizens when it comes to international hockey, especially when one tries to have a civil, objective conversation about "the rivalry". I don't care what anyone says, the CCCP is my fave team of all-time. Late 70s to the 80s the best in the world, and while kudos go to the USA in 1980, in 79 and 81 Canada/NHL got it ass handed to it! More Soviets in the HoF please!!!!

  • @MadcapLaugh3 what about 1972, 1976, 1984, 1987, 1991...who's ass was haded to who...

    hof..loool

  • @canada995 Exactly Canada was very good at winning at home

  • @Potts132 so 72 final game was at home????

    2002 was at home???

  • @canada995 That's two, out of how many?

  • @Potts132 y don u go google it faggggggg

  • @canada995 Wait... there are stupid Canadians? Fuck I thought this was supposed to be the better part of America >.<

  • @Potts132 dumbass russian, y don u go drink vodka and eat some plutonium u dumb fuk.

u were never good at hockey and never will be.

  • @canada995 I'm a dumbass? "y don u go" 3 spelling errors in 4 words? Eat Plutonium? If you are using a reference to the poisoning it was Polonium not Plutonium.

Not to mention the CCCP had the highest win loss ratio of any country in hockey history. So i would say that was pretty good

  • @Potts132 u dumbfuck, who da fuk gives a shit about spellin on youtube...be me typin properly, am i gonna find a job??? its a FUKIN comment u dipshit.

    no I mean Plutonium.

tell me what team USSR faced??? shitty ass teams... the best players were in NHL, and if you were in the NHL you weren't allowed to play in any IIHF events...so USSR played SHIT teams...

Best players from Canada, America, Sweden played in NHL.

they only played GOOD teams in the 72 summit series.

  • @canada995 Well actually in the Challenge cup, with non Canadian reffs, the best of the NHL played the Best of the USSR, all Canadian's and 2 Swedes. In 1979 the All-Star team lost the series 2-1. And no the team had many Russian's but it was a SOVIET team not a RUSSIAN team.

In 1994 The Soviet Union was long gone and all the Soviet Hockey team were gone in 1992 (a year which they won) after that it was Russia not Soviet Union, and we are not talking about Russia.

  • @Potts132 Russian hockey is the same shit as USSR hockey....

If USSR still existed, it will have the same players as the Russian team....

  • Comment removed

  • @Potts132 USSR team is the something as the Russian team...Nothing changed form no more USSR... Kazakhstan was never good and they never produced any good players... same thing for the other countries in 1991...

most of the players that played for USSR were from Russia.

in 1994 NHL players were officially allowed to play in IIHF events...what is russia's record???

  • @canada995 Not to mention the Summit series was best v best yes, but only won by a single game. But in another best v best, the Soviets won by a game. In the other 2 best v best they tied the series. Not to mention you are not very good at geography in 1991 there only was Russia in the Soviet Union.

Oh and in the IIHF standing's Russian is #1, just saying. Although the Soviet's were the best for 50 year's Canada now has the spot light, only difference is we grow up and accept it

  • @Potts132 only 1972 Summit Series was best vs best...the other one was not cause it was WHL not NHL...

USSR broke into MANY COUNTRIES in 1991...

lol that is how u know IIHF is BS, even though we won gold.. Olympics is 100x more challenging than the World Championships...

u were not the best for 50 years..

if you truly accept it you would not be arguing with me.

  • @canada995 Challenge cup was best v best also.

It broke into many countries in 89 and 90, 91 was the official dissolution.

We were the best for 50 years, I accept that we are no longer the best. Canada clearly has the best team in the World, Russian is 2nd or 3rd. We all accept that, few Canadian's cannot accept that for 50 year's the Soviet's could beat you at hockey. It's just how it was, when they played CHL v NHL the won, best v best they won often.

    And no they wouldn't

  • @Potts132 u fukin clown..ussr beat shit team and u start callin them the best .the ONLY reason ussr won gold and other events was because, CANADA WAS BANNED..if the NHL players were allowed to play we would have kicked ur ass.

    lol CHL, you beat kids

ya u beat NHL players during the all-star games, remember it happens in the middle of the season, after like 40 games.same thing for CHL.

even in 1972 u played a Canadian team where the players just played a 65+ games season

  • @canada995 Well one that makes no sense and I can barely read it but I see one comment of yours I can read. (By the was CHL is Continental hockey league its' Russian not Canadian, thats our NHL)

You have little to no fact's you use immature insults, USSR was better then Russia which makes your diagram totally wrong, and USSR was better then Canada. This is more accurate USSR>Canada>Russia.

    7-4 in 2010 8-1 Canada cup (:

  • @Potts132 u fukin clowns, u mean KHL...that crap....CHL is Canadian Hockey League, its been there for WAYYYY longer and CHL will beat KHL any day.

    7-4???? CALM THE FUK DOWN....

7-3 in 2010 and 7-3 in 1981, History never changes....

    CANADA>U.S>Sweden>Czech>Slovakia>Switzerland>Belarus>russia>ussr.

    understand u dumb shit.

  • @canada995 Continental is spelt with a C in English is it not? Well that last diagram is clearly just you running out of material and using blind rage to rule your opinion. Thought Canadians were better then that. It's a shame

  • @Potts132 it's called Kontinental Hockey League, there is no such thing called Continental Hockey League...

yes it is shame being a russian.

  • @canada995 I was translating to English, I was unaware that you left the K. Since the K mean's a C or a K in English I assumed it was spelt "Continental" not "Kontinental". I want to see you master Russian in a few months.

  • @Potts132 master the most pointless language....lool...

  • @canada995 You give Canada such a horrible name. Accept other cultures? Hardly. Less ignorant then American's? No. This is quite eye opening, maybe America is the better part of North America

  • @Potts132 Calm the fuk DOWN pussy...

you give russia a bad name...OH fuk wait, Never mind, Russia already has a bad name. I can see you are a true PuSSy.

  • @canada995 Cause I don't talk like an idiot mean's I am a pussy? At least we had the balls to over throw our monarch.

Damn strait we have a bad name, we have fucked with so many people America can't even keep up

  • @Potts132 PUSSY..russians are fukin pussies. u guys were so scared of america that you pussied out and broke up in to countries....LOOOOL

ya u keep picking on small countries that barley has any weapon, the biggest pussy move ever.

Hide behind ur nuclear bombs u dipshit

  • @canada995 ... Bahahaha god you're a fucking idiot xD Well one we were not scared at all, two you have a failing education system and think the CCCP was Russia. That's like me saying "LOL Canada is a pussy cause they made provinces"

America doesn't? Afghanistan? Korea? Vietnam? Cuba? Iraq? They are all pretty damn small too.

Nah, we got a big enough land army to not need to use nukes like America

  • @Potts132 RETARDDDDD...Canada has one of the best education systems in the WORLD. Along with other bests....russia doesn't come close to top 10 in anything but being pussies...

    USSR is Russia, dipshit...

ya america is a pussy just like russia is....

LOOL is that the same army that lost to Finland in WWII....LOOOL

  • @canada995 asshole ? take yor seat or take 1 pass to pcsychologyst

  • @pilatois yes there is a hole between my ass cheeks, ur russian whore of a mom would know this hole, cause she twisted and swirled up her tongue and licked that hole last night..

    CANADA>russia>ussr.

  • The Soviet Union was a powerhouse in hockey... that is unquestionable! Too much speed, too much power, and too much skill to deal with.

  • Thanks for posting!!!!!!

  • Cheers to an unsung hero, Helmuts Balderis, the most underrated player in my opinion

  • guys please stop with this shit russians/soviets are the best players so be happy with your second place

  • Good job mighty CCCP =) (Coming from a Canadian)

  • can you two both grow up and stop arguing. Who cares.

  • The Soviets had to win because if they lost, they would have been executed by firing squad in Moscow.

They don't call them commie bastards for nothing.

And overall, Canada still dominated the Soviets. Beat them in 72, 76, 84, 87, and 91. Only in 81 did they beat Canada when Mike Liut turned in a girlie.

  • So it was all Liut's fault? Don't blame only the goalie.

79 and 81 is not the only time the Soviets beat Canada. In the World Championships since 1977 when there was no limit on NHLers Canada had only one win against the USSR. You going to say that Canada did not have all of its best players? Well neither did the Soviets in some of those Canada Cups.

  • @unnamed00, the World Championships?

Haha! What a fool. You just proved you know nothing about hockey.

For your information, the best players don't play in the World Championships.

But if you're going to use that angle, then I'll just say that Canada owns Russia every year at the World Junior Championships. Ha!

  • Well at least you did not bring up women's hockey...

Read what I wrote and don't make yourself look dumb.

Most of the world's best players used to play in the WCs, and if you are going to count all the Canada Cups, you have to count all the WCs since 77 also.

  • @unnamed00 ,

In addition, whenever BOTH team's sent their TOP players, Canada won most of the tournaments.

    As I said, 72, 76, 84, 87, 91 versus the Soviets.

    Canada is simply THE BEST!!!

Even now. Canada 7, Russia 3. Hahaha

  • Not seven silly.

The Soviets did not send all of their best in 76 and 91.

And Russia is not the same as the USSR...

  • @unnamed00

Yes they did send their best. Oh and Canada beat the Soviets in 72 without their best forward and defenceman, Bobby Hull and Bobby Orr. Wow!

And yes, 7-3 was the score in the latest pasting of the Russians at the Olympics.

  • That is not what you were referring to.

In 72 the Soviets were missing some of their best players also, like Firsov.

In 76 and 91 they were missing many of their best, but I don't expect you to know that...

  • @unnamed00

Typical Russian fan. Just like the Bolsheviks of the past, you live in a world of denial.

Canada's pros have always killed Russia's pros, with few exceptions.

And even today: Canada 7, Russia 3 at the Olympics

    Stop your ridiculous excuses.

  • Yes always killed, like in this game...

Face it, in the late 70's and 80's Canada could come close to or win against the USSR only in the Canada Cup where key advantages were insured.

And what do you know about the Bolsheviks and Soviet history. Just keep quite about things you don't know.

  • @unnamed00

Give me one reason about why anybody would even talk about the Russians? They got their ass kicked once again in February. They're a total embarrassment.

  • If you want to talk about embarrassment, this game and series were known as "The Embarrassment" in North America...

The topic here is about the Challenge Cup and USSR vs. Canada, not how much Russia has sucked since 93...

  • @unnamed00 Russia is still pretty good at the world championships, 25 stright wins, going for 3rd stright world championship titles on sunday i believe but they need to be better in the olympics.

  • @leafyutube Dude, if your American, how many world Juniors have you won? If you Canadian, they have just as many world juniors as we do so stop bitching

  • @Potts132

World juniors? Who gives a fuck about world juniors? Only a stupid Russian fan, that's who.

  • @leafyutube I am a Canadian, and how come like all of Canada watches them if no one cares?

  • @Potts132

You're not Canadian. Any person who is stupid enough to embrace the commie flag is NOT Canadian. Go live in a country where the army has people living behind walls and machine guns if you love the Soviet Union so much.

  • @leafyutube Well i was born in Canada, raised in Canada, go to other countries wearing my Maple Leaf. And I'm A Communist, and since Canada has no Communist flag i wear a Socialist Flag on my profile. And my Family has lived in the Soviet Union and i have heard alot about it, wonderful place, shame that I never got to see it.

  • @Potts132

If communism is so hot, why did so many countries (including all of Eastern Europe) abandon the system?

  • @leafyutube Well it would help if it was Communism is Asia and Europe just saying. State Capitalism failed, Socialism under Lenin was amazing. Learn what Communism is then you can make fun of it

  • @Potts132

I'm not making fun of anything. I asked you a simple question. If communism is so great, how come all eastern bloc countries scrapped the system?

  • @leafyutube They weren't Communist, by name not by practice

  • @Potts132

What!?!? If Lenin communism was so great, how come nobody in eastern Europe uses the system any more?

  • @leafyutube Cause Communism has never been attempted. Read my comment next time

  • @Potts132

Never been attempted? Are you saying Russia never tried Lenin's communist system?

  • @leafyutube It's Marx and Engels Communist system. And No they did not

  • @Potts132

YOU called it Lenin's communism, not me.

And have you asked yourself WHY nobody has adopted the communism you so much cherish?

  • @leafyutube First of all grow up, second of all they have as many world juniors as them so we are not that much better

  • @Potts132

Thirdly, you're an idiot. You use the word "we" to refer to Canada, yet your portrait has the Soviet flag. Duuuhhhh...

  • @leafyutube Ya its called a typo dumbass

  • @leafyutube Jesus, one single olympic victory over russia in 50 years!!.. However.. ya, be further happy that fact.. :D Btw, Its exactly the other way, Russian players killed Canadian players in the past too many times..

  • @jaromT

You're stupid. For your information, before the fall of communism, the Russians were sending their best players to the Olympics, while the Canadians were sending their amateurs. How come you don't know that? Simple. You're stupid.

  • @leafyutube I know about your "fact" very well. Russians were 100% amateurs, but ya, a canadian fan dont want to say that. However, even in best vs. best tournaments russia kicked canadian asses, when it has been a fair game! But it wasnt often.. I dont need to tell you about Bobby Clarke, eh? Or the ridiculous totally biased 1987 Canada Cup, uh? Canadian hockey is all about lies and dont tell the truth. Like i said before, be happy about your first real victory in 50 yeas, and hell.. stfu, boy.

  • @leafyutube Ya, canada won the series, cause Clarke broke Charlamovs ankle, fucking canadian!

  • @jaromT

    Wel well well. Another idiot.

Are you even aware that canada did not even have their best forward and best defenceman in the '72 series? Bobby Orr and Bobby Orr did not participate. So don't give me that shit about Kharlamov.

  • @jaromT

Bobby Hull and Bobby Orr, I should say.

  • @jaromT

Oh, and in the series when BOTH Canada AND Russia sent their "A" players, Canada won MOST series. Here are the results:

    Canada won: 1972, 1976, 1984, 1987, 1991 and 2010

    Soviets/Russia won: 1979 and 1981

    Nice try, but you're wrong!

  • @leafyutube 1972, Charlamovs ankle - 1976, Russia didnt send their best players, ya, Russia can do it too Oo - 1984, was a clean win by canada, ya - 1987, was so damn much biased, i cant believe that shit :D 1991, dont know. Btw, Russia has won the Summit Series 74, the Challenge Cup 79, the World Cup 81, the Rendez-vous 87 and the whole Super-Series 1976-1991, in which the NHL won only 2 series out of 18!!

  • @jaromT

What's wrong with you Russian fans? You're so stupid!

1972 - Kharlomov was out, but so was Bobby Orr and Bobby Hull...Canada's best D-man and forward! DON'T MAKE EXCUSES!!!!

1987 - DON'T MAKE EXCUSES! You lost with your best players!!!

Rendez-Vous 87 - You don't know your history. They SPLIT the 2 games.

Lastly, you're completely wrong on the last point about the super series. 2 out of 18 series? Are you stupid or what?

  • @leafyutube The only one whos stupid is the canadian fan and every hockey fan knows that (: Its like trying to talk to a wall.. However, just write further bullshit by trying to block facts, i have no problem with it.

  • @jaromT

What a comeback. You're a real genius aren't you. Not able to address even one point, simply because you know you're out to lunch.

  • @jaromT

Oh, and in 1980, your best Soviet team couldn't even beat the Americans...a bunch of college kids! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

    What's your excuse there?

  • @unnamed00 How about the Flyers winning in 87 too? Oh and by the way, Kharlomov was their in 76 against the Flyers. He's in the hall of fame, because the NHL recognizes how great he was. Please don't pull that "we didn't send our best bullshit."

  • @HeavyD2544 Sorry, its was 86 not 87.

  • cheevers looked like a coach who just threw the pads on for a game....he was a joke...couldn't even be a back up in today's NHL.

  • 2:25 Cheevers is a bum. A pure bum.

  • The soviet men were the Best!

  • What was the big Soviet scoring line before the K,L,M line?

  • Kharlamov-Petrov-Mikhailov

  • pavel datsuk rly reminds me of boris mikilav number 13 they both are always in the right place in the rite time

  • Oh, and the Soviets made the same mistake in 1976, sending a "B" squad to face Bobby Orr, Bobby Hull and Bobby Clarke in the Canada Cup and got squashed... hard.

  • Squashed? When?

They got 3rd place just like they expected with the team they had.

  • Yeah. The "B" Squad they sent. 3rd place.

  • What? You think they sent an A squad?

  • No, I clearly stated they sent a "B" squad. For a guy that keeps saying I make no sense, is calling the kettle black. Idiot.

  • Ok dummy, so what was the point of your comment then?

  • Guys, don't be fools. Red Army played together most of the year. This NHL squad was the yearly All Star selection for 1979, hardly ready to play a real contest, as shown by many All Star squads in history. That, and they didn't practice at all. Not exactly comparable teams.

  • This Soviet team is not the Red Army...

And this team did not play together for most of the year. Some lines and parings did, just like for team NHL too.

Practice was not a problem for team NHL.

These games were not like the allstar games you see now.

  • Wow, you are just like Wikipedia. Making shit up for the public masses.

  • No you are the one making shit up, and you don't make sense...

  • Easy, there, Don Cherry... haha...

  • Don Cherry? Keep continuing not making sense...

  • Learn English fluently then.

  • Maybe you should learn to not type while drunk or high...

  • Maybe you should try to stop being Russian... lol.

  • And you should stop being Canadian...

  • Never.

  • Ok...

  • "They didn't practise at all". Yeah, right.

Anyone with a pair of eyes and with a fair bit of hockey knowledge should be able to understand that the Soviets were something else in the 1978-79 season.

And it's amazing that some people still try to make it appear that Bossy-Trottier-Gillies, Clarke-Barber, Lafleur-Shutt, Sittler-McDonald etc. were some strangers to one another.

Finally, if the NHL all-stars weren't ready, this contest should not have taken place. But It did. End of story.

  • davidson was a bum, didn't belong between the pipes.

  • Davidson?

  • Канада сосала сосет и будет сосать! А в Ванкувере отсосет втройне !!!

  • i want a mod for NHL 09 wich adds the soviet team!!!

  • Scotty Bowman tried one full line of Russians, back in the 90's, remember?

I remember the series with St. Louis Blues. Look @ 2:46 of this vid. & u will see what St. Louis was getting away with.

Makarov. was chopped down & no penalty. I also remember they (NHL) asked 4 a stick measurement, & if you notice, he sored on a back hand.

A Russian Team in the NHL, would hardly loose a game, if the Officiating were fair! A snowball has a better chance in Hell, than getting that. Russia is #1

  • Yeah I had to create each player and the team :\ took quite awhile.
