Rally and F1 drivers are by far the most skilled ones.

Driving around in a huge oval doesn't take any kind of skill.

why do people underrate other racing series? there is no way to prove what is best unless the drivers have a race other than the RoC. By the way, Juan Montoya, Kimi Raikkonen, Max Papis and Scott Speed race or have raced in NASCAR before, but only Juan and Scott have won(there were other drivers). So every type of racing takes skill, but the skill changes throughout the series that you are competing in.

Marcus Gronholm damaged his car and tried to drive back to the service park in rally GB and got pulled over by the police as his car was scraping on the road and the police wouldn't let him continue as they thought it was a hazard.Oviously Marcus wasn't to happy about it.

They are releasing pressure on the fuel injected fuel line, when you release the pressure on the valve it sprays gasoline everywhere like that, just for a short second of time... if the engine was hot which was likely releasing the 40 - 60 psi fuel line will spray a bit of fuel on the engine block and burst into flame. Pro Tip: don't change the fuel filter on a EFI engine when the engine is hot!

The WRC will not be receiving a warm welcome when they decend upon northern NSW, it may come as a surprise to the rally organisers, drivers and fans, but the locals are more interested in peace and quiet. So put the race in its place and take it elsewhere because we do not want it! Your race should be run away from residential properties and away from threatened species like the koalas, whose corridor you plan to run your race along. Shame on you Repco Rally Australia.

Because the WRC is being imposed upon residents in Northern NSW who are horriifed that tax payers are footing the bill to send this noisy polluting event to a biodiversity hotspot.

well its not as if the drivers intentionaly hit animals on stages and the avrage speeds will be no where near 200kph for much of the rally. and kangaroos have been hit more in the past.but yea the rally shouldnt have been moved.

Is there logic in what wildlife do for the most part? I thought it was more about instincts, adrenalin, habit, options, fear... You have now realised though what we are arguing. We don't want the wildlife to have to clear out because of the trauma and fear created by helicopters, increased human activity, noise etc. The Rally and the circus that will accompany it constitute a severely heightened risk to everyone on or near a road at that time.
