That is very cool. It's a bycicle pedel, bearing and housing, cut out and a leg welded on it as a mounting bracket. I am considering building one now, and this design shows great promise.

Very cool idea. I would suggest adding a full lid to it, in case of debris or oil dropping in from the chain. Thanks for sharing. Cheers.
