You couldn't become President of South Africa, but you could become President of a financially-dependent puppet state like Transkei or Venda, and the parliaments of those puppet states were almost entirely black.

The ottoman area of "Palestine" included Israel, Jordan, Southern Lebanon, and over half of Syria.
There is not a single ethnic group with claim to the entire area, because outside of the Jew's, Hashemites, and Alawi's the other enthic groups migrated from Iraq and Egypt at end of the 19th century.
Prior to recent history there were never such thing as "Palestinians" even among Arabs.

These people are really pathetic....I would love to see a gay pride parade in Gaza or Ramallah and I'd love to see these people be openly "queer" there. Israel is not a perfect place, but gay rights extends to all...
What is the solution that these people propose? What is their solution to this conflict? To banish all Jews from the middle east????

@Fizzleberry actually my queer friend did go to both the west bank and isreal and said that they were more welcoming in the west bank. it seems gays are the last people they fear of. also the solution is simple stop putting boarders up and give everyone who lives in isreal their human rights.just compair pictures from the holocaust and whats happening now in isreal and palastine and u'll see no differance. just maybe better picture quality

Is it not known that there are Palestinian Muslims in Israel's Knesset who help govern the country and make its laws? Is it not known that there are Mosques and Christian churches everywhere in Israel? Is it not known that Palestinians do not reciprocate this openness? Is it not known that Israel pulled out of Gaza completely and for its effort received a continuous stream of rockets for years?

Continuing: israeli arabs are exempt of compulsory military service; the armed forces and the parliament have members who are openly gay (The USA does not accept gays in the military if they declare sexual orientation during enlisting). Homosexuality is banned in Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, Iran, Saudi Arabia etc. In Iraq there are no laws but today's news stated:Torture and execution of Iraqi gays on rise: HRW.<
