  • Looks like a pit/am staff by the shortness

  • Theres no way to know for sure but I would be willing to bet he is majority apbt. I think he has a little something else in there though. Nice lean body type he is a good lookin dog no doubt.

  • No way.of knowing without a ped of course, but he definately LOOKS like some kind of APBT mix, probably not pure... How much does he weigh?

  • nice pitbull but the ear is shit

  • Looks like purebred "street pit" so Lord only knows what was thrown in there generations back, but he is a beautiful, athletic and healthy looking dog.

  • Pure Real APBT - No Hippos bred in - beautiful dog!

  • Not a mix pits come with diff. Types of ear sets it's def. Pure apbt

  • Hey let me tell ya somthing; chinaman does have a longer body type; this is likely a chinaman cross; Is he 55 less or more?

  • @HedgieDiva no he's actually around 57-59lbs

  • Full bred? Not terminology, and without papers even if he is a pure bred dog, it doesn't count. Beautiful boy though anyways. His legs and ears are not those of a pure bred APBT. He looks mixed... maybe beagle?? That might explain the short legs and huge ears. I really cannot say though, but I do know he is a pretty doggy. How old is he??

  • uploaded a video today will have another in about 15 minutes of him in action

  • If you don't have a pedigree you don't know. He is still a fine dog. He really looks good.

  • @apbtdobe here is the answer you dont have a pedigree you cannot tell by looking at the dog wether he is full blooded or not hell it doesn't matter as long as u love him and enjoy him and it seems u do

  • APBT bloodlines are documented extensively and without a pedigree stating what it is there is no telling without insulting. you sound like a great owner that understands the APBT breed with the amount of work you give your dog. in the future you should get a pedigreed APBT because you sound highly educated on the APBTs needs of exercise. it does look like it has APBT blood in the line somewhere, but like i said without papers and documents the percentage is unknown. keep up the good work!

  • the funny thing with these APBT'S is they were not breed for looks.they were bred for performance standards above all else.i have seen dogs at ADBA/AADR dog shows that were as little as your dog here in the vid if not smaller. the ones that i seen that small were game bolio, maverick, skull lines. not to be mistaken for a minnie line becasue that does not exsist in the APBT world. they come in all shapes and sizes except bully size 25-60 is the norm.

  • Not sure if he is mixed or not, But I know for a FACT that he is living a better life then some of these TOP dollar bullies who only get walked from there kennels to take pictures to update a website or to a show. Nice work with him...

  • @97caddy Thanks bro, great point. Like I said I love him to life. We walked 5 miles yesterday, went hiking 6 miles today came home and rewarded ourselves with a raw lunch. I had a green smoothie and he had a raw chicken breast and thigh. He's keeping me on my game.

  • @BullyBadAssTV Chinaman sometimes has longer torso like my chinaman bitch, check her out. So he very well may be pure either way nice dog and good luck

  • I'll show you my pit and then you can understand where I'm coming from .tomorrow I'll post a video just for you

  • What about a Pit/Chocolate Lab he's got some of the same facial features but does have APBT features...All that should really matter is that you have a very nice looking dog that is healthy also makes you and your family happy

  • He seems like he could be an old school game dog. Pitbulls have changed drasticly over time. Pitbulls now days are a lot bigger and do not meet the standards. This is mainly the reason for the American Bully and is much different from the classic American Pitbull or the Stafordshire Bull Terrier.

  • HEY BRO HE COULD VERY BE 100% PIT FORGET ALL THIS DUMB SHIT BEING POSTED LIKE YOU SAID PEOPLE CAN'T EVEN ANSWER THE QUESTION CORRECTLY BUT THEY SURE CAN TYPE IN NEGATIVITY SMH IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT HE IS AS LONG AS YOU LIKE ND LOVE YOUR DOG AND I DO KNOW THIS HE IS A ATHLETE DA BOY CAN FLY LOL

  • @MrJR981 thanks bro, I appreciate that. Honestly, I appreciate all the opinions, especially the ones that are constructive. I've been all over the web checking out game bred pits. And what I know now, there is no standard. He is probably a mix but to me that's not a bad thing. He's super athletic and that means I have to exercise myself and him to keep him balanced and happy.

  • I'm just saying he ain't full breed abpt ! Maybe you thought you bought a full bred that's all no reason o b sensitive n chill

  • @pasadena4lyfe OK he's not full bred... But you didn't even listen to the video, I stated in the clip that he was given to me by my sister, I didn't buy him.

  • @pasadena4lyfe no .....it would be very hard to tell.....could be anything

  • Mix

  • Really Nice dog, I think its a pit Mix.Aside from what you stated his tail is carried over his back, also his ears are a little long, again nice dog!

  • His neck is kinda long and his head real small and legs short he mixed sorry bro besides if he ain't got papers he really probably mixed

  • @pasadena4lyfe Sorry? Why are you sorry? I told you I love my dog, wouldn't trade him for any dog in the world. He doesn't have to be anything but what he is. I was simply asking a question.

  • Well he looks alot like Ch.Hog 05 ...so I would reserch kingfish/turtle buster......just a hunch poossably jeep cross...just from his location of birth but he was close to Va. mabey some Savoy stuff...good luck in ur reserch...but my gutt is deff sayin kingfish/turtle buster stuff

  • Hey guys I seem to be getting a lot of Game bred for my dog so I'm going to do some research myself. If you could be more specific in terms of bloodline, I'd appreciate it.

    Thanks

  • this is the real apbt...more of a game bred...these are the fighting dogs i grew up with...keep him happy n healthy...

  • @hmong71 you think so? I was wondering if he was game bred, but why the short legs? Is there a game line known for shorter legs?

  • I think your boy was onto something with the stafford bull terrier theory...cuz the short legs could just be a mix of southern style pit crossed to shorter legged corvino style cross back in his line just came out,but def a good lookin boy..great job

  • he looks like apbt because he has like my pits structure, except his legs are short so he might hav a lil bulldog but deff not a bully. bullies are much wider but hes a good lookin pit.

  • Look like he's on the eli/carver line

  • He looks like a gamebred pitbull to me

  • he looks like a pit bull from the game lines

  • looks Pit to me nice boy ugot

  • He got some staffordshire bull terrier in him for sure from what i see.

  • hes a pitbull mix with a mastiff

    ....

  • @pokemondicks3 doubt that he's got mastiff in him. seems like mastiff would add a bit more size.

  • very good lookin boy.narrow rearend bout 50-60 pounds he most def pit.Not sure about full blooded as im sure if your askin he's not papered but def a healthy good lookin APBT by standards

  • He looks 100% pit, maybe a little somewhere in his background theres a pit mix but he looks like a good healthy black pit. Good looking dog.

  • @TalkHeavy thanks bro!

  • my opinion i do think he is a little off on american pitbull charecteristics but he is what you can call a legit pitbull...way better than most i've seen

  • @kingjeezy7457 Yeah he's definitelty a "Pit Bull" but I did mean APBT. Any idea what he's mixed with?
