wow, you shine in this song! and how awesome it is to see these photos of you. you're one class act, all the way my friend! - Fuzzy Soul Tiger, Mr. PJ
Madeline thanks for the comment, haven't heard your name in a long time, keep in touch I still hear from some of our friends as you can see in the pictures on this video. Thanks
What a GREAT voice Nick! This music means a lot to us aging baby-boomers. The good memories (and some sad) of our youth are brought back with every doo-wop song we hear and know.
You don't hear this great music on the radio anymore!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video as you mentioned oldies bring back great memories, I love to sing them the writers deserve the credit I only express the feeling of the songs. Singing songs of 70's like Kool and Gang or Earth Wind and Fire or any Motown are also included with great memories.
Great song!!!! This has always been one of my favorites and is on my want list. Did you know any of the other groups signed to Amy (The Companions, Gabriel and The Angels, etc)? Joey Columbo is one of my favorite singers.. His song A Place In My Heart on the Taurus label is one of my favorite ballads. I Need You was a great one too.
Thanks, the Joe Columbo you refer to was from the 40's, Joey Columbo came from Brooklyn, NY
he was a DJ on WBLI in Long Island in the 50-60's he recorded Skinny Minnie. He was our manager. About Amy Records: The Only artist I remember was Little Eva at the time. The CD Amy Records was recorded by Roni Ies, it was called The Best of Amy records (Doo-Wop) vol. #3.
Nicky, I think we actually may be talking about the same Joey Columbo.. He did a few records on the Taurus label. I just posted A Place For You In My Heart by "Joey". Check it out and let me know if you think it's the same guy. I'm curious
This is great watching all your video's makes me remember the time long past. I heard this before on Don K. Reed Radio Show CBS Fm, when he paid tribute to Amy Records Your good keep them coming

Satellite radio - Sirius and XM channels 5 are the only way to go for oldies anymore.
