These comments bashing on the mainstream music scene are really surprising to me. Yes I agree that in many cases mainstream hip-hop is garbage, but as a DJ and a producer I understand that those songs are directed towards clubs and radio stations. Still I see shutting those out just because they are made by mainstream artists like people who only listen to club anthems and big bangers, limiting yourself is what music is fighting against, and by avoiding certain music, you're limiting yourself.
