i enjoyed Christine a hell of a lot more than i did than From a Buick 8....FB8 was the very first Stephen King book i ever read too and what bored me the most was that they had the car in quarantine the whole time, Christine is the exact opposite and even though i did not enjoy FB8 Stephen King will go down in history as one of the greatest authors of all time

Believe it or not there HAVE been other horror movie cars. "Christine" is just the most memorable. There was "Blood Car" (2007... 1995 Honda Civic), "The Cars that ate Paris" (1960's VW Beetle), "Maximum Overdrive" (1987, a horde of semi's), "The Car" (1977, 1973 Lincoln Continental Mark III), and of course "Death Race 2000" (1975)

Deathrace 2000 wasn't a horror. It was meant to be a comedy, but was poorly executed lol, becoming a classic for all the wrong reasons haha. I love it :D

I saw this movie last night for the first time, and I really enjoyed it. I love how Christine's windows go black when she's pissed! They took the black window thing from the 1977 movie, The Car. The Car and Christine are both amazing films. I wish they still made films like this!

You can't redo a movie like this. I liked the book so much better, but the movie isn't bad. Without Arnie you can't do the movie. It's not entirely about how the car kills people, the scary part is the part of how a possesed car changed a bookish teenager into a humanity ranting asshole and made him a psychopath.

Iliked the movie better.Book has the ghost of lebay,movie has Christine herself being evil.Good job of casting the characters.Remakes are never as good as the original.They should just leave it as a '80's movie

The Golden Commando was a 350 cid B engine..the very first of the series that included the 361,383 and 400.The other engine was the "A" engine which was either a single carb 318 or the dual 4bbl V-800.

The engine you see in the rebuild itself scene is a Golden Commando, although the chrome aircleaners and valvecovers would normally be gold.

that bit is my favourite bit! when christine reverses into the shadows so all you can see is the outline of the car an its just the sound of the metal reforming an the lights coming on that makes that scene so stunning!
