  • i have a plan, grow some land

  • when i listen this song ,why does i feel diffrent i dont know, its just weird, amazing song

  • 6 people is never going get out of the house mua hahahahahahah¨

  • I bet Bob the Builder is jealous listening to this.

  • Rammstein <3<3<3<3

  • this reminds me of the cask of amontillado

  • Sounds like Rosenrot...

  • @Raxorhun Rosenrot (the album) was largely made from Reise, Reise B-sides, so that's why the two albums sound similar.

  • @Raxorhun No it doesn't........rosenrot is faster and a little more...light???

  • This song is awesomely demented. Till screaming makes it even creepier

  • Rammstein shit all over most of the bands today

  • @toomuchcoke "Foreign Bands: Can sing in a language most people don't understand, and still make more fans than anyoone else."

  • Stein um Stein>Brick by Boring Brick

  • building a house has never been more badass

  • i likes <3

  • When I hear this I think about a certan XGF you know who you are!!! LOL JK

  • My kind of love song.

  • Maybe someday I will be able to explain how I feel while listening to this song...

  • this is how Rammstein plays minecraft

  • @kirenemook121 Us Germans don't call it minecraft in Germany. We call it building a house around that bitch.

  • im eating waffles

  • This melody is based on a the romanian myth of the craftsman Manole(mesterul manole), in witch a great craftsman of churches had a problem with his greatest creation (a church). It had it's foundation sinking in the ground. He then found out that to resolve this problem he must build his pregnant wife in the foundation, witch he does(the metaphor here is that all great creation comes with sacrifices)

Rammstein found out about this legend when they where filming Rosenrot video in transilvania

  • @thanatosfb clap clap*

  • @thanatosfb cool story, how do you know this? i read its about the berlin wall and about east and westgermany? could both be true

  • @thanatosfb I'm romanian,when did they come to romania??

  • @thanatosfb ...This song was made in 2004, Rosenrot released in 2006. Just sayin'.

  • I could care less about what he's saying, his voice is just so pretty.

  • Oh my god... This is the first time I've heard Till really -scream-... *shudder* Nn...

  • I was playing Terraria while listening to music. When this track kicked in, I trapped the spawning point with dungeon bricks and spikes, and surrounded it with stone and stone walls until the spawning point became pitch black.

Anyone that entered the map got trapped in a dark stone room.

Imagine what I did with the next song: Disco Inferno.

  • never knew about the ramm-stein pun in there O.o

  • OMFG Theres no sound D:

  • @axehandle20

if it says webm or whatever it is it will permanently mute the video you are watching unless A. it goes away after a few days B. download webm (I DONT RECOMEND) or C. Use a newer computer or a windows 7 laptop which fixed the problem for me (bonus for this one as you can listen at 2x speed if select to do so)

  • -oh yeah thanks, your gonna build me a house- what do you want me to do?

    -just stand there...

  • listening to this while playing minecraft makes sense

  • this video now has double speed

  • ... so it's like the Cask of Amontillado.

    Only better.

    Because it's Deutsch

  • so und jetz ma minecraft zocken...bekommt man richtig lust aufs häulsibaun <3

  • i want to build a house now with this song playing XD

  • Rammstein are the only ones who can make building a house so fucking badass.

  • @KRAZE87GMODDER

This is not about building a house, it's about Josef Fritzl.

  • @r8wing I know it's not building a house, but they make it sound like it from the lyrics.

  • @r8wing i thought this song came out before anyone knew who josef fritzl was? actually, i thought their song "wiener blut" was supposedly about him.

  • @GaydarBard

Indeed, this song was released in 2004 and the Fritzl case was blown out in 2008, but you must admit it fits like a glove.

  • @r8wing its about the Berlin wall actually

  • @tkillvirus Actually, I don't think it really is. Just because the lyrics talk about a wall, doesn't mean they've ment it literally.

  • @KRAZE87GMODDER Totally. This song kicks ass!!

  • @KRAZE87GMODDER Hahaha! It sounds a lot like rape, when you read the lyrics. I love this song, because it's actually their interpretation on Edgar Allen Poe's "A cast of Amontillado". It's really a wonderful story, regardless of how dark. I love EAP

  • das mit [2] wusste ich gar nicht - genial! :D

  • irgendwie hoffe ich ja immer noch auf ein musikvideo zu dem lied..

  • TO FUCKING DARK AND FUCKED UP!

  • I take it as getting involved with a relationship with someone, and "stone by stone" they wall you in until you've lost your freedom. I've been in relationships like that, where a woman tries to competely control every aspect of your life while she does what she wants, including seeing other men, behind your back. I've seen it happen to friends, too.

  • Rammstein rockt! :D Ach man, das ist so süß.

  • STEIN UM STEIN \m/O.O\m/

  • Anyone else think this song is about Frankenstein, until you saw the lyrics?

  • @JicandoFibre nope...because Stein um Stein means stone by stone....you know that if you understand German :D

  • The guitar sounds similar to rosenrot

  • I've listened to this song like a fajillion times and i just got the Rammstein pun...

  • this song is fucking creepy lol

  • what nice psychotic songs can they produce.. love them :)

  • @LizzieSwereldje In his interview till said that they dont really think about the lyrics when they write them :D :D... so yea they find iit easy to write psychotic Songs :D

  • @LizzieSwereldje yeah but isn't a little bit crazy that we like this kind of songs? :P

  • @TechnorixtGR That's exactly what i was thinking. Sometimes i fear for my sanity LOL

  • Cask of Armitilio? or however you spell it ... Someone brought this up on a different video search it it's by Edger Allan Poe

  • @crazytrain58 that storys fucked... we had to read it in english o.o..

  • I'll fucking WALL HER IN THAT HOUSE OF MINE !!

I MISSE HER SO MUCH GOD DAMNIT

  • So Ramm means ram as in ramming into something. And Stein means stone. we're listening to ramstone. And yet that name is still a million times batter than all the other shite names for groups

  • @liamtaylor93

I believe that it means Stone ram (battering ram) not ram stone because the german word order is not the same as the english order

  • @Mattulaak Oh I see. I did actually know that but I forgot when writing this, thanks :)

  • @liamtaylor93 It means ramming stone.... That's a bit bad ass

  • It loses some of its meaning in English. german is the more pure of the 2

  • RAMM

  • Nirvana - D-7

  • Till's voice is like a drug..you press play and you want to sniff it *sniff, sniff*

  • cant live a day without listening to rammstein!!! like a brainwash! but a good one..

  • plz no one give this thumbs up i just want to make a point youtube comment are SOO freaking stupid compleatly pointless

  • the riff in the chosur sounds excacly like the one in Rosenrot

  • lol, why does this great song make me angry?!?!?! lmao XD

  • this is art

  • STIEN!!! RAWR!!!

  • Lesson learned, when you brush Till off at the bar, HE WILL ENTOMB YOU IN A FUCKING HOUSE, HOW METAL IS THAT?? \M/

  • @Fiveten64 I'm actually sending this link to my English professor after I pointed out that this song has relevance to Poe's "Fall of the House of Usher" and especially "The Cask of Amontillado" (in which the narrator takes revenge on somebody by chaining him to a wall and then building a permanent around him).

  • @Fiveten64 ...building a permanent *wall* around him.

  • Germany rocks. <3

  • i was listening to this song and my dad asked what the translation was about

after i told him he was kinda like lolwut?

great song, thanks for uploading ^ ^

  • loving the ending

  • man i am so addictive to rammstein

  • @pvsg1990 you mean addicted...

  • @grofovakeva he most likely doesn't speak english as a first language

  • @zimimon1 I know, that's why I corrected him.

  • @grofovakeva oh

  • @pvsg1990 That's a bit conceited, innit? :)

  • @pvsg1990 yea i know there like sex but im having it!

  • thumbs up if you think youtube made a mistake making Like and Dislike buttons (AWESOME button)

  • is it me? or does stein um stein sort of remind me of the music video "sonne"?

  • @HeartOfInsanity they are both love hate songs both sad both controversial.. controversial the meaning of rammstein the best German band in the world!

  • Love all the emotion in these songs

  • I'm danish, and understand every german word in there

  • @TheFetaost13 Me too xD

  • @sebo19956 haha nice! :D

  • @TheFetaost13 god u suck...we don't care

  • @MrBackstabba Some do.

  • if there is one moe dislike on any Rammstein video, im seriously gonna...

    SCHREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm learning German. These videos really help with furthering my listening skills and stuff. Thanks for putting these up!

  • on the cd i'm sure th end is more like

    STEEEEEEEEEEEEEEIIN

  • Everyone knows Rammstein has lots of great songs, and even people who aren't into music have heard Du Hast. Hell, Rammstein has just become one of those band synonymous with music... Like Metallica or the Beatles. But this is the beast song they ever wrote.

  • @kyletheenigma I really liked the music from this Album but my favorite is probably Fuhre Mich or Hallelujah. I love Rammstein I'm glad there's so many other people out there that love them too.

  • too many dislikes

  • Mmh, Walling up the side that is hate? I tried it, but the widely accepted embrace of apathy in this damned world bewilders me, every moment, a thought of another sin in this place, a step closer, another string broke edging me closer towards insanity, every day.

  • german is sooo nice :D it never got raped by french, unlike english ;) it's pure, authentic :) no weird unussual words in it

  • @nikolasmaes99 you forget that german also has some latin too. For example pink in german is roza as well as spanish.

  • @pvsg1990 i cant think of any other language that doesnt use ro.. for the first two letters in pink (speak four languages fluently but no spanish ;)

english is the exception with 'pink' tell me how they made that up? pink? for the combination of red and white.. rot und weiß

and of course german has some latin, every languege does, its the foundation for every european language

  • I can hear the chorus tune was re-used in "Rosen Rot" (or perhaps vice-versa)

  • @Carrotlocks well the song here i think is about someone is walling in the part of himself he hates... that what i imagine , so to me this song is myself removing the part of myself i hate so i can find happiness...lol not to upset but i dont cut myself and would advise against it.

  • @luckywhale I just took this one as a creepy story how he walled her wife in for a reason not known but it set the tone that he promised to build her, big house house someday and took a twisted curve. Besides you hear her scream at one point when he hammers the nail in so yeah

  • @f8j3jn The reason's obvious. She left him.

  • @eZwebmaniac and bratwurst sausges

  • @eZwebmaniac screw you to steriotypical scumbag

  • i listen to this song when im bored and i feel emo everytime i listen to it...............is that bad?

  • @123brucealmighty123 emo just means emotional, so no. Nothing wrong with emotions. This song makes me pissed at people for leaving me.

  • 3 people are out of cement

  • I am American and I love Rammstein. The music is simply beautiful. I even like the song Amerika, even though it knocks just about everything about my country. I am ok with it. These guys got it right-don't sound like everyone else, just rock out your own way and the fans will still be there regardless.

  • i have always wanted to learn german and Rammstein makes me want to even more. it aslo helps when i watch translations like this who knew learning could be so entertaining! XD

  • my favorite rammstein song \m/

  • Rammstein's genius is in double meanings which would only be found in interpretations rather than translations. Mostly, native speakers catch on to the often hidden meaning. "Einmauern does mean to wall in, yet is also used as a way of saying, building a wall around oneself, as in keeping your distance. In the middle age as punishment people would be 'walled in alive" with brick walls. They wrote the song after the read about the Austrian horror story 2 years ago. Enjoy - stop fighting!

  • `CHINCHILLA '-..-'

  • The Cask Of Rammstein?

  • @MinisterKGB Nice Poe referrence.

  • holy shit WAY OFF americans if your not german STOP trying to gett translations from google and whatnot they dont know our languange because they dont have any german speakers they translate with what they get off the internet and peice together as english is spoken

  • The story about this song is the Ghetto.. no hard to understand this, hard song, true story. Never forget about what happened in the pass... R.I.P all the deaths in 2nd war world.

  • Shitty translation. I've been looking for translations but all I've seen so far is shit. The translators translate the words one by one without ANY regard for the context. Google translator would do a better job.

  • @masterwow You are actually completely wrong on this one =/

  • @masterwow LMFAO how can you call this a "shitty" translation if you can't understand it? you sir are an idiot and this is a good translation actually c:

  • @reapermort99 I'm fluent in German and even more so in English. I can tell when something is translated from German into Engrish by a person with a poor vocabulary. Why do you think I can't understand this? If I couldn't then I wouldn't have called it a shitty translation, butt face.

  • @masterwow @masterwow So why don't you act decently and say what is wrong in the translation instead of being rude? You are not being any useful to people who like Rammstein but can't understand german. If you don't have nothing good to add please be quiet.

  • @masterwow have to disappoint you with Google translator. Am a German teacher and Rammstein's amazing texts can only be understood by interpreting their texts and looking at the many meanings they 'weave' into almost all songs. As a native German speaker I'm always amazed about the depth of their lyrics. Would be worth it writing a book about the stories/meanings of their songs. They're fun, dark, historical and amazingly narrative. Absolut überspitze!

  • @evawilhelm I share the opinion. I'm talking about the English bits. The translation isn't very good. I've translated a few lines into English and made them even rhyme. :)

Yes they make use of their synonyms and that is good.

For me, the lyrics themselves don't seem very deep in themselves, whatever it is people call deep thought. What appeals to me, is that they are about what each one of us thinks without ever talking about it. To top it off they use plain, good 'ol simple German language.

  • Love the solo in this, sort of a Tom Morello type solo.

  • nawwwwwww sooo romantic, man Till is such a gentleman.

  • @9KV2 He have 4 daughters from 4 different women time for him to wear a condom :P....

  • @takeitonemoretime123 at least* 4

  • @xraccoon lol yep

  • life is exhilarating yet tiring, life is beautiful yet ugly, life is painless yet painful, the only time im safe and loved is when you caress me with your soft hands and words of love..

  • * 3 people became part of the home.

  • RIP FOR ALL 3..........CREATURES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 3 people are faggots.

  • Und keiner hört dich SCHRRREEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEENNN

  • 3 people are going to be walled in a house without any light or escape...

  • Ramm........STEIN UM STEIN

  • 3 PEOPLE GOT BEATEN BY TILL LINDEMANN :D

  • those three haters gota die or something. this band kicks all your guys' ass!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Rustygirltheflirt Couldnt agree more, anyone who dislikes this should not have looked this up and is a fag for disliking...

  • the music video for this song is volkerball version imo

  • there are 3 motherfuckers!

  • @TheRadioactivemutant true , but when im feeling down this song reminds me that i CAN and WILL wall in my depressions...great song reguardless though right? XD

  • this is my way to deal with depression...rammstein

  • @luckywhale Well if your'e gonna treat things with Rammsteon you'd better start treating the rage that listening to Rammstein will give you.

  • @luckywhale made mine worse :S ended up slitting my wrists open o_O

seriously, i adorerammstein, theyre my favourite band ever but if you're feeling depressed, i strongly recommend you not to listen to them..it just makes all worse

    trust me

  • @luckywhale And my way to deal with sanity.

  • @luckywhale mine too......

  • toller Song Rammstein Ich liebe dieses Deutsch Rock besser als american!

  • till lindermen is complementing us on our head banging.

  • This song is creepy, Yet I find the lyrics beautiful and poetic, Rammstein you never fail to amaze me, This song live is perfection, tills vocals and richards guitars are perfect, I love rammstein ♥

  • Stein um stein, und keiner hort der SHREIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love Rammstein, every single fucking album is amazing

  • Till Lindemann can kill 2 stones with one bird.

Till Lindemann sold out a concert in heaven, even though he's atheist.

  • lawl, it reminds me of "The Cask of Amontillado" by edgar allan poe XD

  • They came to New Zealand in January and played at the Big Day Out.

Till was pretty pissed off because it became clear after a few songs that most of the crowd didn't understand a word of what they were singing... it became apparent when they played Ich Wil and there was probably only about 6 of us who put our hands up when he sang Ich will eure hände sehen. he was not happy... still, it was a damn good show and i thoroughly enjoyed it.

  • Is this song about the story of Cask of Amontillado?

  • Helmut kohl <3

  • Reminds me of the Fritzl case

  • @ThorSchou Frit
