Hendry and Davis weren't just born as natural snooker players as alot of people would like to think. They perfected their cue actions and potting through practice rigimes few humans could handle. They studied other top players and put them in difficult positions by safety play. Both were truly obsessed with the game more than any others could possibly be. They reason the dominated was because they new what was required and put in the massive time and commitment to acheive it. My fav? O'sullivan.

@YouaresoCrap Yea ,but Hendry was past his peak when O' Sullivan started to beat him. Still I loved the time when ronnie was mouthing off how he was going to hammer hendry in one of the world champs semis.....and Hendry beat him up.....u could see in Hendrys eyes he was not going to let O' Sullivan get away with that. It was pretty humilliating for Ronnie,but he does bring these things on himself!

The finish to this match was the most perfect snooker session I ever saw. I was willing for Hendry to make a mistake but he never looked like missing. 10 frames in a row and from what I remember some frames he only had half a chance from baulk and cleared up in most frames. Jimmy was in the form of his life that year and at 14-8 up would have beaten anyone but Hendry. The year Jimmy was 17-17 with Hendry was probably his greatest chance when he missed the black in the last frame.

The match between Jimmy White and Hendry where it was 17 - 17 all resting on the black...which year was that? It was the most gripping game ever!! I was gutted when Jimmy lost and astounded at his great attitude when he did lose! I would have been sobbing loudly or bashing Hendry with the cue! LOL
