Not entirely accurate. Those regions you mentioned are not Tibetan diaspora outside of their old empire, but parts of it. Geographically, the Qinghai-Tibet plateau should be more properly known as Qing (Amdo)-Kang (Kham)-Zang (U-tsang) plateau (as it's still called by ROC), and the old Tibet empire occupied the entire plateau. alan's hometown, Kham, is part of it.

She's still Chinese by her nationality. Tribes are part of ethnicities, which is distinct from nationality. For example, you can totally be ethnically Korean, but you can still be nationally Chinese.

The song was created by a young music student who visited the town of Kangding, Sichuan, in the 1940s. He was there to entertain a group of ethnic Tibetan soldiers who were shipping out with the Kuomintang Army to Burma to fight the Japanese. No, actually. Tibetans and the Han aren't too closely related. Mongolians, on the other hand, are. A lot of Tibetans have colored eyes, but that's just one little difference.

During the Yuan Dynasty (Mongols), people were divided into 4 categories: Mongols （蒙古人）, Colored-Eyes (色目人）, Han people （汉人）, and Nan people (南人）.

I was wrong about Tibetans being the Colored-Eyes people, but you are wrong about only Caucasian have colored eyes. The Uyghur people (维吾尔族，新疆）have colored eyes too. They are very ethnically different from the Han, but you can't say they're White.
