ya the music industry is definitely left wing michale graves from the misfits was ostracized from the music industry and major labels for his right wing political beliefs
i love peter ..i love type o..he loves his music..and hes deeper that the pacific ocean..i dont know why he puts himself down ..i can see from these interviews hes not happy..hes troubled..its sad..i really wish he had have had the right woman to save his soul....he created a channel for me to vent my fears and hates and attempts at love in this fucked up world..
Peter Steele: “After my mother passed away last year and a couple of other things happened, I pretty much got back to my faith. I was born Roman Catholic. I go to church on Sunday and I do read the Bible. I went to confession for the first time in 30 years. And the priest was very happy that I had come back to church.I’ve always thought that the meaning of life was to try to find something to live for. Now I realize, all this time, it is finding something to die for. I will die for my faith.
He's right about how the music industry has gotten way too left-wing, and the most punk rock thing you can do in this business is to say anything right-wing. Rock n' roll is about flipping the proverbial bird to the status quo. He's going against the grain of what his peers are doing, and I tip my hat to him for being true to himself. Granted, the "open-minded liberals" will say all sorts of venemous things about him, but he could care less, so more power to him. Rest in peace Peter.
Peter must have been sick. He looked to bad those last years. Type O Negative has been my favorite band since 1998, thanx to the bride of chucky soundtrack where there was a song called Love you To Death... My favorite song is In Praise of Bacchus. Peter, thanx for bringing Type O Negative to all of your grateful fans. No body like you and TON-.
@mbw1985 Well, he talked about dying in LOTS of interviews before, even 15 years ago when he was totally healthy. So it's not too prophetic, also because everybody has to die some day.
Thank you for posting the rest of this interview. One of the best Peter Interviews I've seen. At least he was finding peace before the end. It seems unfair and tragic, though.

You have proven yourself to be a true friend, a creative inspiration and an icon to me.

Why was the camera shaking around so much?
Why couldn't they get a damn tripod?
That loser cameraman destroyed good footage.

He's so right about the tattoo thing. Getting tattoos is like wearing a tie nowadays.

Honestly whoever is recording this is either hyper or is not all there mentally. Come on shaking and zooming in an out every 5-10 seconds.
On topic love you peter you inspired me in so many ways man. RIP <3
