I really like the way Karen Mok sings, but I have to admit, David Tao outsang her on this one. Although Karen's voice sounds great, she leaves it drifting too much, and her timing is off in places.

I think she knew that, and hence why David was leading.

Karen is English. Each of her parents is half Chinese, one is half British the other is half German. She speaks English just like a Brit.

David Tao is a great singer songwriter. I'm not sure if he's taiwanese or American, but his dad was a famous taiwanese singer who sent him to the US to study so he could live a non-superstar lifestyle. He even once worked in the LAPD. Karen Mok is a model and a very accomplished "artistic" singer, whose songs are away from mainstream.
