at 1:13 you can clearly see mirage on the ground after optimus gets shot..........................­..or is it? remember hound can make life-like holograms, so that means during that entire fight mirage was already invisible on the decepticon ship. that just proves how epic hound and mirage are.

TO CLARIFY: MIRAGE is seen firing at the ship AFTER Megatron closes the door. So Mirage, who doesn’t like to fight, turns invisible, quickly climbs the rocks, & BREAKS into the ship. Then knowing he is on a ship full of enemies & WILL get shot or worse, he appears & fires ONE shot – perfectly disabling the ship. Then after getting shot, insults Megatron & parachutes out at an extremely high altitude & softly lands right where the Autobots are. Then tells a joke. Now THAT’S one badass Autobot.

the g1 trasformers aired in the 80's the first season opens up in the several thousand years after crashing he trasformers get revived & i quot "some time in the 80's" they are revived the intercity of the g1 series all 3 1/2 seasons took place in the 80's where the new movies (witch Michael bay ruined) took place in the 60's

I don't get it. In the Transformers G1 Cartoon movie Spike was a kid. But this show was before the movie right? Why was Spike so old in the tv show? Sounds like a teenager

Spike IS a teenager in the show, but in the G1 movie, he's older & he has a kid named Daniel. You've probably mistaken him for Spike.

In the G1 movie, the kid was daniel, Spike's son. Spike is older in that movie than he is in these episodes. What I wanna know is, when did he age? It seems to have just skipped to him being old and having a kid with no explaination... Or did I miss something?

Yeah vidman1976 explained the Spike and Daniel part to me already. They did skip to him being old and having a kid I think because that's a whole other type of movie when they get into those details. Kids don't care about relationships when they are watching transformers. I know I didn't. That part isn't important. It's all about the transformers.

The G1 series took place in 1984-1986. The movie came out in the summer of 86, and took place in the far-off futuristic year of 2006 when the Decepticons took over Cybertron. That's why Spike is older and has a kid. (obviously he married Carly) One of the few things that made sense in this series.

@BadassMcAwesome1 Well let's see here. Season 1 and 2 took place in the 1984 - 1985 (according to the TF timeline) and the movie took place in 2005, with Season 3 taking place a year later. So that's about 20 years difference. In the episode "The Immobilizor", the cop said Spike was took young to drive, so let's assume he was 15 y/o. Add 20 years to that, and you have a 35 y/o father.

what I liek about this episode is Mirage is the hero, it's not his "spotlight episode" heck he didn't do much before this point in the this opener, but it was "just one of the guys" that stopped the cons Though in between this introduction to the TF's and the start of the series proper I wonder what changes were made? Why didn't the Autobots go back to Cybertron? (I think Spike never went until SOS Dinobots) And the decision for the crashed Decipticon ship to be thier HQ undersea?

I love Transformers, I am new to the old series but what I found really funny and weird is how they always seem to have have the right tool everytime. If they is a fire one of the autoot have a built in extinguisher, fallen steel grider ? blowing torch.
