very nice shots, as well as sound. I disagree with the song choice for when you believe he is going to be stabbed. I think a score with a more dark and depressing feel would be better. the twist, though predictable, was very good and the actors had great performances. The intro scene with the motercycle was fantastic in both shots and pace. I really enjoyed watching this and I hope I can make something as good.

How to improve the movie?:

1. Have Christian Bale act as Ramaglia's stunt man when he gets hit with the chair and then go into a "You and me are done professionally man" rant.

2. Have an ad of the iPhone posted behind the bad guy when he whips out his Blackberry.

3. Have Colburn dawn some black sunglasses and act like Trinity in The Matrix demanding from John "Just tell me where the nearest phone booth is John, and this can all come to and end right now."

The story about "deep capture" explaining the filthy practice of naked shorting with the perpetual loop hole of never actualy ever having to settle the trade and deliver a real share from the companies real outstanding float could be a hell of a topic.

One interview talks of a university reporter whose young daughter was threatened if he continued to pursue the story

by 3 goons at a Wall St bar and his University was given a

handsome gift by these filthy firms to drop the story.

The production values are "commercial" enough. The actors are "stereotypical" enough. The cuts are "energetic" enough. Not a problem if you like unoriginal, hard-ball theater, and comic-book dialogue. But forgiving all this, still, the acting is so goddamn amateurish, we cannot get past the obviousness that every actor in this movie has simply seen too many movies; employing here all the cliche expressions "that work". But it's all just so much generic mimicry. Downright spoof-ish. Sucks.

Video looks pretty good for what it was shot on, lighting is kind of generic with the white fills, audio is solid until we get to the part where Mr Logue is bound and sitting on the watercooler thing, where they fluctuate noticably. The SF itself is kind of dull though, and lacks something to draw you into the story.

Why all the technology. You could have just taken that bankers phone. There were three to two odds and the three were bigger. Why waste money on tech? Unless the banker created such a scare in the three that they had to do it behind the back like gays. And that banker was talking such trash I would have written into the script that he jumped up off the bucket and strangled the banker. And the other bankers smile jumped off his face and he peed himself. Whimpering and trying to slink away.
