just 1 little request: is the tempo isn't right, can you adjust the spacing between notes? such as: i have a song ~5 t/s, but MNBS says it has to be 10/s to use in MC
@Davve941018 i LOVE IT, thanks, it's awesome to be able to make the NBS file, import it with 2.5? and then export the schematic, im sure you have your reasons for disabling it for now, and although your midi thing outdated all my hard work, thanks for it anyways :D
also: please keep the release on the 10th, it would be a lovely birthday present to me :D (i dont care if it has a few bugs, it already takes freakin long to boot)
@fireyblackdragon That's due to it checking for updates. You can uncheck that in the Settings menu (although then you wouldn't be alerted when 3.0 is out).
@Davve941018 thanks for the response :D and ill turn it on on the 10th, but i like being able to jump right in. is there any way you could thread the update check so the program could run, and it will tell you when it's done checking if there is an update? just asking :D
@ReneeJoel That was a personal deadline, and not an official one :/. Since .schematic importing seemed to be harder than I though, I'll have to push it up to 10/10 at least. I haven't done the .schematic export or selecting/moving yet, but that shouldn't be too hard since I've done it before.
@MCCrafter100 If you're talking about .midi importing, you can see the interface at 1:15 where you can choose what instruments the different patches in the MIDI file should be translated into. You can also change the percussion (drum) sounds and octave modifier.
@Davve941018 you could, for the instruments thing, make a mod or get a modder to make a mod, that puts those insruments into MC so that if say, obsidian was under it, it would play the flute sound.
i cant do it i cant change or find the song on my computer i try and change i to midi and it dosent work :( PLZ HELP

@fireyblackdragon You can increase the distance between notes by:
1. Selecting all the blocks (Ctrl+A)
2. Right-clicking on the workspace
3. Selecting "Expand selection"

Davve :) Thanks for all of the hard work on this. Can't wait for 3--whether it is 10/1 or 10/10 or 12/12 for that matter. ;)

I like how this is heading. Noteblocks were introduced in Minecraft Beta 1.2 but now you're still working hard on this program. COOKIES TO YOU! ;3

@Davve941018 this is cool and all but how are you going to get minecraft note blocks to play all the new instruments?

@Davve941018 what I meant was, how can you export the song into minecraft if youre using sounds that arent in minecraft?
MCCrafter100 5 months ago
@MCCrafter100 Well you can't, so I'll make an option to ignore any sounds that are outside of the octave range or have a custom instrument.

Wow, awesome job on this. Could you by any chance make the program export the songs to .midi files as well? That would be sweet.
