If youre thinking about getting this game, i would recommend 1, 2, and 3. I have played all of them and these are the best. The only problem i have with the first (can't remember tabout he other ATM) is sometimes you get lost or forget what youre doing and there is no map or objective reminders, so your wandering for hours hoping you stumble across it. But it really isn't so bad considering the scenery is VERY colorful and unique.

@chicopapass Well unlike franchises where people nitpick about character design or apparently bad gameplay, such as Sonic or Crash, the 4th Tak game is actually awful, control is stiff and its based off of the TV series so you get Taks annoying friends instead of Lok, and it has none of humour or charm of the fist three.

i feal that the first game is more of an adventure game, you have much more freedom then the 2nd game.  the 2nd game, you are forced to follow a specific path.

yes this game is a very unique platformer. there are about 20 juju spells to obtain extra content unlockable by finding all obtainable items/plants/yorbels also this gae has in game button code cheats. overall if you want a game with a good story good gameplay and good sequels this is a great series to get started on
