The reason theres 13 is because there are 12 zodiacs,but legend says that the rat tricked the cat into missing something(forgot exactly what) and he didnt become a zodiac. the Cat is the 13th "zodiac"

Wait, I'm just curious.  Is it difficult for people not brought up to speak Asian languages to speak with Asian inflections on sounds? My parents are Asian, so I feel comfortable saying Amaterasu quickly. This being the case, I have no idea how hard it might actually be.

@IDENTITYx9 not really,i watch alot of anime like Naruto(which came to mind alot since 1 of the people has the abilties Tsukyomi,Amertasu,and Susano) i watch the japanese versions with english subtitles so i hear how they say it and in turn say it easier,but i guess if u dont hear how it sounds you just assume its pronounced the way you know english words would be pronounced with that spelling

@wexx18 Amaterasu is the Goddess of the Sun. So basically the Sun is her. She can only control the sun not create suns. Also, the brush power is not to create Stars it's to cause Sunrise.

Yomigami (yomi is from yomu, the root verb "to read")

Tachigami (tachi is from tatsu, the root verb "to stand")

Bit of an interesting story behind the cat in the zodiac. According to an old folk legend, the Emporer held a huge race to determine what animals would be in the zodiac. At the time, Cat and Rat were close friends, but Cat was a sleepy head. Cat asked Rat the night before to wake him up for the race, but Rat snuck out without waking him. Thus, Cat missed the race and was omitted from the zodiac. Feeling betrayed, Cat swore revenge on Rat, which is why cats always chase after rats to this day.
