The blandness of the modern sound. I've seen the Shads many times, over many years, and for each new improvement in PA / studio recordings, their own renditions of their own classics suffer. This is ok, but it lacks bite, as they have done since the 80s. Have you all tuned in to StudioChan's channel (Eric from Belgium)? If not, then give it a whirl, he provides the oomph that has gone troppo from the Shads themselves.

The rolling drumbeats and the orchestral music played a colossal role in this Shadows' piece. The beats were so on-going that you felt like you were in an era when you watched a movie where the cowboys chasing the red indians and vice versa. How amusing.
