The Bulls were the better team in this series they should have won this thing in 5 but the Pacers really took it to them in Indiana and came close to pulling off the upset in Chicago but the Bulls just out-willed them in this one

The pacers should have won this series. They were the better team. If not for lack of rebounding in the 4th quarter, (not to mention horrible officiating) The Bulls escaped the best Pacer team ever.

i remember i was outside playing basketball the weather was just to perfect in chicago and had a report to write for my 8th grade teacher. I remember seeing the ending of this game to find out that the bulls had won and were going to face the utah jazz for the second year in a row in the finals!

The '98 Pacers-Bulls EC Finals was probably the most competitive series Jordan ever played in. The Bulls never went to 7 in the Finals, and, right, they won in 7 against the Knicks in '92 and lost against the Pistons in '90. The '98 Pacers series was better, though, because the Knicks didn't really have a chance in '92 and the Bulls didn't have a chance in '90

I think they did plenty. This was the only series that MJ truly showed relief. The Pacers gave Chicago hell...great series
