The Bulls were the better team in this series they should have won this thing in 5 but the Pacers really took it to them in Indiana and came close to pulling off the upset in Chicago but the Bulls just out-willed them in this one
i remember watching this in my friends dorm room and feeling sick of the thought it could be all over for the bulls. long live the bulls greatest teams ever 91-93 96-98
@airHaakon Ever since the "Malice in the Palace" in 2004 the NBA will NOT allow physical play like that. A fight on the court, a fan in the stands throws a cup of ice on Artest & all hell broke loose.
@ewabound57 mmm i think the 80s basketball days was hard nose basketball, 90s was the golden age of basketball, todays era ........sorry i watch football now days :P
@ewabound57 This era has to many rules, because of the "Malice at the Palace" & the Knicks/Nuggets Brawl. Can't have fans throwing stuff at the players.
The pacers should have won this series. They were the better team. If not for lack of rebounding in the 4th quarter, (not to mention horrible officiating) The Bulls escaped the best Pacer team ever.
i remember i was outside playing basketball the weather was just to perfect in chicago and had a report to write for my 8th grade teacher. I remember seeing the ending of this game to find out that the bulls had won and were going to face the utah jazz for the second year in a row in the finals!
#VIDEOPOSTERID# I am simply a 5'8 chinese kid and I can easily dunk in live games. Anyone can certainly do it, just use the right workout. I personally used the 1 from (50 inch vertical [dot] com) but any workout is fine if they work (which many do not)
1998 NBA Playoffs: Pacers @ Chicago Bulls, Gm 7 part 1/12
is there somewhere where I can download these and other games? I find only few classic games, and all others are after 2000, but I wanna download bulls games 1998 and before..
The '98 Pacers-Bulls EC Finals was probably the most competitive series Jordan ever played in. The Bulls never went to 7 in the Finals, and, right, they won in 7 against the Knicks in '92 and lost against the Pistons in '90. The '98 Pacers series was better, though, because the Knicks didn't really have a chance in '92 and the Bulls didn't have a chance in '90
I was a big Reggie fan in the 90s, was rooting like hell for the Pacers but it was not to be.

what's funny is the teams that couldn't get past the bulls with jordan ended up getting owned in the finals-pacers,knicks.

I think they did plenty. This was the only series that MJ truly showed relief. The Pacers gave Chicago hell...great series

yep, a great team indeed but just another victim in the Jordan Era.

1st game 7 for the Bulls since 1994, when they lost at MSG against the Knicks, of course that was without the true "King".

and this is the first Game 7 for MJ since the '92 East Semis vs the Knicks.
