@Rootwitch06 I just read Fender's interview with Richie (done sometime around NAMM 2010) a few days ago and he says that they couldn't supply him with the exact amp that was listed in his rider (JCM900, although he often uses various Marshall models) so he tried a few that were available and this one blew him away. He says this was his best tone on the entire tour...
could (should) have been many more people, and more noisy if you want, but those who went sure enjoyed it... but in a silent way. a few of us cheered and sung, but still. I hope Richie didnt get mad and comes back soon!!
Yeah... The backline amp was probably provided by the venue, as the guys had to fly to Las Palmas, so I guess Richie's real rig stayed somewhere in the mainlands. None the less, some great tones here!
