  • my stock 1969 442, 400 block w/ c head eats every stock ford, chevy, or mopar and its a drop top 11's from a role ! who wants some!

  • whats the price as it sits??? Im looking for one to put in a jeep wrangler YJ..Im ready to buy so let me know..

  • @thumpersavage5cs contact Bill Trovato at BTR Motorsports

  • I have a 307 Olds in my 1989 Chevy caprice wagon came like that from GM. Any difference in the valve train of a 307 and a Olds 350 rocket? I have roller lifters in my 307, not sure on the roller cam. She just turned over to 234,000 runs great doesn't not burn oil but got that tick noise on the driver side. Had one set of rockers already replaced the tap went away for about a month then came back. I got to keep it going til I get my 350 engine for it.

  • nice too much overkill for me. I just want a mild rocket 350 spread bore intake noticeable idle.

  • @MrVideoman44

Just to let you know I built one just like that aftermarket forged pistons off the shelf heads preformer intake noticable cam I was not impressed myself .still works well today someone else has my 72 cutlass with that original engine I rebuilt in it . They put headers on it and let me drive it I noticed a little bit mor guts with that. obviously stock heads have some majorflow issues.

  • where did you get this from my 307 threw a rod

  • how much i need it

  • i love the headers on the wall

  • what does she have? she's reaching 6700rpm!!

  • you can bolt on a set of 455 C heads on but they are 80cc so it kills compression how do you compensate for that? I'd like to know cause i got those heads and 2 350's

  • how much power did she make?

  • MY FAV MUSIC ..LONG LIDFE TO OLDSOLETS

  • holly ball sack shes a screamer

  • How much for that engine? you guys only have the 455 posted on website

  • sound like a powerhouse!

  • sounds good with no load on the crank

  • hey, im jizzen too!

  • yeah i shit my pants...

i want it in my '77 chevy nova...

  • that needs to be droppen in a cutlass ASAP!...my 69 cutlass? lol

  • well i just jizzed in my pants

  • i REALLY want this in my '77 Cutlass Supreme

  • @DJM442 same lol

  • I want on. I have a 1970 delta 88 350 rocket, 30,000 orig miles

Iwould need a 4 barrell and carb and motor redone. I want to use my heads and block. How much , ball park figure for about 400 hp?

    thx

    I'm in Toronto.

  • this guy is annoying... lol.

  • I would like to put that in my 1986 cutlass supreme

  • This makes me want to do the grunt from Tool Time with Tim Allen.

  • @Potential613 lawl

  • will it make me Sh*t my pants

  • i love this motor ...how much does it cost 4 a bulid like this i have the same motor

  • Check out the engine run stand- the engine is sitting on blocks of wood and strapped down using two little straps.... living on the edge. If it had come off of that- he would have been the one crapping in his pants

  • @AGTW31 the straps are a 1/4 inch thick..at least.lol

  • Was I seeing things or did you just rev that engine up to 6900rpm with no load on it?

  • HAHAHA . . .YEAHH .. . THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN' ABOUT!

  • Hey man, what kind of transmission would you recomend using with this engine?

  • @laxin88 400 turbo! Trust me cause thats what i have on my car and when i need extra power it's never fails me! Only downside is no overdrive

  • @laxin88 depends..id build a get a 700r4 from monster..so i can have overdrive..

  • @philthyco yea i really want the overdrive

  • DAMN! i got 68 olds cutlass and im rebbuilding the engine right now. very nice engine

  • My 79 Cutlass heard that from the driveway. She says it wants one, but it can afford it. So she'll stick with her 305.

    Great video!

  • jesus, even with a normal exhaust system this engine has to sound like fucking godzilla coming down the street. i can only hope when i get my rocket 350 put into my '77 Cutlass it can sound 1/2 as good as this engine. good job guys!

  • nodular iron crankshaft for sale. un touched cleaned up and in the crate. with or with out factory balancer

  • 4 0 3 runnin shit in the olds game, next to the dx block and the ever so rare nascar block

  • @calcutlass 403?dont think thats the best olds motor my friend but hey 2 each his own..peace.

  • Hi there, I once put #5 350 heads on a 455, it was real responsive down low and needed avgas to run! I've done it all when it comes to Olds engines, I even put one in a 1976 Triumph TR7. I used a Toronado intake for hood clearance and to shorten the oil fill tube, it even had dual exhaust.

    Later!

  • Its true! I just shit my pants!

  • hes barley hittn it and its turnin 7 thousand rpm!!!!!easy 8 thousand and up smallblock!

  • 8 thousand rpm easy!!!!!!!!!!!nice small block man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!mine is simaliar but i have iron heads(ported and polished) and a performer rpm .ive got 11.1 comp ratio and a split duration comp solid roller screw in studs and 1.6 rollers rockers mines revs 7 thousand allday.all machine work done at diablo valley machine in tha east bay area.i just changed 2 a dual feed carb and electric fuel pump ..i love olds!

  • @philthyco correction... ive got a hydralic roller

  • I got a 69 350 and tranny from the junk yard is it worth rebuilding or should i just look for a big block

  • the heads should be c castings on that block, it was the last years b4 that restriction shit came in effect you have a damn good engine

  • The oil pump usually sucks the oil pan dry. You can slow the oil flow down or make the pan deeper. I prefer the restrictors and slowing the flow down.

  • SICK

  • Think you guys are looking at the vacuum gauge instead of the oil pressure gauge

  • were can i get one done how much dew you caharge ?

  • Gosh that thing is a beast

  • you can find aftermarket rods, its called off cut grinding the crank and using aftermarket SBC rods.

  • yup

  • right right right took the words out of my mouth. lol

  • The 350 Olds has a 4.057 bore and 3.38 stroke, and an excellent rod/stroke ratio. If you can get them to breathe and oil, you will have one bad ass little engine. you can bolt on a set of 455 C heads with the correct aftermarket intake and gain some hellatious breathing. The smallblock Olds is not to be underestimated.

  • how do you bolt big block heads on a small block?

  • You just bolt them right on unless the smallblock is a 1977 and up block, then you will need to drill the big block head bolt holes out to 1/2". The Edelbrock Olds performer RPM intake has taller ports and can be ported to match the big block heads. They are a great upgrade for the 350 and 403 but not the other Olds sb engines, they will lose too much compression. The best smallblock heads have the #5 cast into them, late 60's to about 70.

  • oh ok. I thought the physical size would be a problem.

  • All Olds did to create a big block was to add deck height to an Olds small block. this is why all the accessory drives and the heads all interchange from the small block to the big blocks by Olds.

  • oh thanks.

  • @Gaspipenicklioni good heads are the 1/2 inch head bolt heads..they just have to be worked over (smog bumps removed) and bigger valves put in..or just drill out the #5 heads to 1/2 inch and put bigger valves..either way the bigger head bolts are a stronger and better way to go.

  • @Gaspipenicklioni The best bore/stroke ratio in GM 350 land.

  • @TechMaven Only the 403 smallblock had a better bore.

  • holy shit thats a beast

  • hahhahaha 1:50"i know you gotta have a hardon"

  • Hey what heads you runnin on that?

  • i would love to have that in my 69 cutlass

  • lol hilarious, "make your ears bleed, guaranteed to make you shit your pants"

  • I love a solid cam!!

  • It sounds nice but how many hp is it pushin?

  • wow....

  • need help wit my olds 350 only have 48,*** miles on it let me kno

  • so can you help me i have 350 olds engine and i wont a new cylinder heads for my car and i wont new manifold sorry i have a not good inglish sorry

  • dude.....

    o

    my

    god....

  • Thats is one mean 350. I was watching your other videos and this small block sounds real mean compared to other small blocks. Btw all us Olds guys already know bout the chebby rods.. :-) AWESOME JOB it sounds sick I would love to see this customers car on the track and the E.T

  • It'll make you shit your pants...Hahaha...awesome work guys.

  • wow you guys have some enthusiasm! Nice job on that 350!

  • That 350 sounds badass listen to my 355 behind a transmission. Mine sounds just as good you would never see me rev mine past 5 freewheeling. When i changed stalls i started it and damn it really revved quick. It still revs quick with a 9 inch converter. I cant wait to get my rearend done and get some track times. I wish i had longtube headers i just got 1 3/4 hedmans.
