Healing SCVs In A Bunker - SCV LOVE HUT - StarCraft Tip or Bug

"Love hut" isn't a bug its a feature, because its implying that theres an SCV mechanic inside of the bunker with the other SCV thus healing him. adding more scvs makes it have 4 instead of 1 healer (just gotta remember to have auto repair on or it wont operate) it might be removed in ladder 6

You can also put a mech unit and scv's in a medivac and scv's will repair damaged mech unit (tank, viking, helion etc) inside the medivac

i think it's as if 4 scv's are healing, not three, husky. think about it: if one scv is in there he heals himself, if 2 scvs are in there, why wouldn't they both heal? then with four you'd have four healers.

Another little tip/trick like this (atleast I didn't kno this until a couple days ago) When you have a large army, and you know another army is somewhere near you. Rather than right clicking to move them around to the black areas, hitting the key "A" and using as a movement point, telling all your units Hey go attack this area and any enemies you encounter on the way start to auto attack. Helpfully for moving armies across the map while rdy to attack enemies intercepting them. ;)

@Ja8sonHuang repairing costs a fraction of the unit's cost. An SCV only costs minerals, so reparing only costs minerals (you can see it going down really slowly in the video). Repairing a battlecruiser would take more minerals and gas as well.

This is pretty evil in some UMS maps where you have those transports with a big transport capacity so you can carry like 16 SCVs and enough space for several thors to fit in.

Also Husky if you put SCVs on autorepair in a medivac with damaged mech units they repair them while in flight. A friend of mine used to do a 3 hellion blue flame drop and he took 2 scvs with him to repair them for a re-drop.

It's not worth it to waste your money repairing SCVs in a SCV Marine rush. Your money (if any) should be spent on making reinforcing Marines. If it were a 2 Rax pressure expand however, this might be something to look into for making your rush a LITTLE more durable. Nothing too drastic to break the game, but most definitely has to be a bug. SCVs aren't smart enough to repair themselves! :O

So basically the tip is if I see SCVs (especially damaged ones) making a dash for a bunker then I should toss down some force fields to prevent it. Also it would seem that for matches with lots of hits (mainly drops) on mineral lines it would be good to have a bunker. For both defense and healing damaged SCVs.

I think the 2 scvs + 3 blue flame hellions in a medivac is more applicable. Drop the hellions. Harrass and take some damage. Load them up in the mobile repair depot and they can have their oil changed and their damaged components replaced and then be ready for a new round of harassment.

another thing that is very interesting, if you have an svc on auto repair and put him in a medivac, you can drop mech units like hellions or seige tanks, then when they get wounded pick them up and the scv's will automatically repair them while they are in the medivac, then you can just re drop them with full hp.
