@lukech44 damn I didn't notice that. I too thought it was firing missiles and a chin cannon/gun, and I found it odd that it had barrel, assuming it to be internal like fighter aircraft. But yeah now I see how it's all missiles.

The vocals where in the first version, but they confused players, so they where removed. The CD version and the version on Frank's website both have vocals. I wish I could get a high-fi version without them, though...

Check out star wars empire at war, if you play it you will be very reminded of early C&C, many of the people who worked on the first command and conquer helped make empire at war.

There are lots of different versions of act on instinct.

The first version with voice samples

The second version had them taken out because they conflicted with the ingame voice effects

Then there was the remix of it made for CnC renegade

And lastly the remake of it by a different person for CnC 3 Kanes Wrath.

I can't listen to the two originals without getting a tear in my eye.

Your wrong, Frank made it with vocals but the first version of c&c on DOS did not provide the support for the vocals, thus it was removed for the DOS and windows version.
