  • i just got my new beretta px4 storm .40 type f for about $577 i havent gone to the range yet maybe this weekend ill go to the homies ranch and fire a few boxes of ammo ill let you all kno how that went.

  • Just bought my .45 storm last week. the guy at the counter told me the blue thing was to keep the case from being crushed during shipment.

  • I just picked mine up and i absolutely love it so far. The blue cylinder thingy is a "crush protector" for the case for shipping/traveling so you don't crack it or whatever. It also works as a stand and would be very useful to hold all of the little springs and pins, should you decide to do a complete disassembly (firing pin, extractor, and safety lever)

  • We get it already. The gun sis sexy. have sex with it already. we all know you want to.....leave the camera on.

Seriously though, I am looking for the stainless model as we speak. I want it as a home defense gun.

  • agree, its a piece of gear bro!

  • The round thing is for when you take your gun apart. It holds small parts

  • I got the PX storm .40 cal. Very reliable. I have over 1000+ rounds on it with no issues. I recently fired over 300+ rounds of steel case ammo (tulammo) with no issues

  • You don't need night sight, it comes with glow in dark sight ...check it out*** AWESOME

  • just bought mine today, cant wait to pick it up next week. full size 9mm

  • xD So tell us how you REALLY feel about this gun! Thanks for the info about the steel casing, I was going back and forth between this and an M&P but I'm really leaning towards the Storm. Haven't really heard anything bad enough to turn me off to it, whereas the M&P does have a few negatives that I have a hard time getting past. Thanks for posting this!

  • the cylinder is a stand that you can put the gun on. put the trigger and guard down into it and it should stand easily.

  • the round thing could be a transport safety to prevend crushing the guncase

  • lol burps just in random places...funny

  • I plan on getting this in about a month. I actually want to get the compact version but stupid CA approved guns doesn't list the compact in the roster.

  • Um...burp...

  • I havent had a problem with the steel case ammo when loading or firing it. I know my girl friend (who I bought the gun for) had some issues with loading the steel case. I think it is how you place the round in the magazine. I am debating on switching my revolver for one of these because I like it better than my revolver.

  • Agree on the steel case ammo. Cheap ammo ruins expensive guns It scratched up my sig chamber. Agree on the beretta. I want one. How much?

  • Good to know about steel case.. Haven't tried it. But I have the PX4 in .40 and I just used a whole box of aluminum cased Blazer Brass and no problems. I've also been using all the other standard brass cased target ball ammo... 500+ rounds and no issues! Love it!

  • Blue case is nothing more than a gun stand. Try it.

  • bought my PX4 when they 1st came out and have loved it ever since. These firearm is innovative with its features and design and it doesn’t don't get the airtime and respect they deserve. Not to mention Beretta has been making firearms for armies and combat use longer than most companies have. So they know something about building a gun. My only hit is that old style trigger guard. I would square it off. Other than that this firearm is the smoothest gun I have ever owned.

  • Looked like it was gonna be a good review until your vocabulary, or lack there of, ruined it.

  • Yup! not necessary at all!! adults do not have to stick that garbage into their conversations! make you sound like a little punk! what I do like about this kid is that he loves weapons....he will grow up and be ok! other than that good job and thanks.

  • Thanks for the video. Love my PX4!

  • I just picked up a used one,and I love it better than my new Glock!

  • I picked one up in .45. Totally awesome.

  • What is the best site to order this gun at? and any idea where to get a duel green laser/strobe attachment for it at for a decent price?

  • hey, I liked your video soo much I went and ordered the exact same one, should be in this week. Who makes good night sights for this gun?

  • Why the fuck do u drop it alot of times ...no hate... and what caliber is it ?

  • Check the video entitled "Official Beretta PX4 Storm Review" for a possible answer to your last question on that plastic thing. Thanks for the review.

  • My .45 ACP version of this feeds really well. The only ammunition I've had jamming isues with are Steel cased rounds, and tracer rounds. I don't know. I think it has something to do with the magazine

  • This is coming from A 40 PX-4 that agrees that this is A bitchen bad ass gun. Yes I own A full

size Sig P-220 45 the storm is cool.Major agreeance on the steel case rounds only pistol I would use them is a hi-power.I haven't switch to night sights too.Untill then I rely on my M6p

light lazer.I used mine to take the Wis CCW course and passed.I have my permit and carry

mine.Check out the CCW rigs and you can find the right rig. Oh and mine has had around

over 3000 rds out of it. Enjoy.

  • A new Ruger SR40c or sr9C is cheaper by almost 200 dollars. Their priced between 399 to 450 dollars. Very accurate and most of all made in U.S.A. Check it out.

  • @MrPoosa1 I've seen this Beretta for $490.99, so those Rugers you mentioned are only $90 cheaper, not 200. But they're also pretty nice.

  • @MrPoosa1 Whats up buddy. I am a long term SR9 owner and just recently aquired a PX4 "C" model. Price wise they are almost on point with each other as you get 3 mags with the beretta and only 2 (I got a 3rd mag when mine was retrofitted;])with the ruger. I gotta tell you I love Ruger, however my PX4 has earned my respect. Later

  • I watched a review with a dude from beretta and he used that blue cylinder thinga ma jig as a display stand.

  • you should get the stainless guide rod it looks awesome

  • Dude thank you so much for all this info

I was undecided of what to buy, ruger sr9 or berreta I like both. Ive heard a lot about Glocks but I just dont like the design.

    I'm buying Berreta for sure!!!!

Also u are the first one to add the price... Thank you so much !!!

  • The blue plastic item with Beretta's symbol on it seems as if it's a spacer. I wondered the same thing when I purchased the gun, but I think its meant to put the pressure from the outside of the case on itself, rather than the contents inside the case. So if something heavy like a tool box falls on your gun case, the pressure will hit it instead of your beautiful firearm. If you notice, its longer and taller than everything else in the case so it makes sense! What do ya think?

  • How many shots you did when you say it's a reliable gun? 1000? And since it's your first gun, please do not compare it to glock or anyghing, for ccw, duty, home, etc. You just don't have experience. New users may get confused. adly for midleading of simply- bullshit info. No offense. Nice video. Just some hints.

  • uuuuammm uuum

  • Best brand /grade of ammo for it.. Jus bought a .40cal

  • Comment removed

  • That cup is for disassembly of the weapon so you don't lose any small parts.

  • My glock loves all ammo ;^p

  • Is it just me or does this weapon look like the stroeger pistol?

  • just had a stainless guide rod made for mine best 40$ you will spend

  • Really nice belch at 3:35~

  • That round cap piece is a stand to display your gun on, your trigger section rests inside it.

  • @xXxBToWnxXx this guys right

  • Is this an air gun?

  • Spacer to keep the case from crushing, that's all.

  • I carry this same gun on a daily basis and have no problem concealing it. You are very right about the steel case ammo. That is the only type ammo I have ever had any problem with, will not shot it. I depend upon one of these daily.

  • what is that round blue thing in the gun case??

  • @XxKingoveKingsxX cup holder. :D

  • @XxKingoveKingsxX display stand

  • fuck yeah steel sucks in my px4 too, tried tul ammo ran fine the first mag.. i bought 2 boxes of 50 and after the first mag nothing but failure to feeds, and as i emptied the mag while shooting the shels fellinto the mag and the follower wouldnt raise till i slapped the bottom of the mag and made the spring pop up. otherwise i love my px4 and is my first handgun 2. thanks for the review man.

  • GLOCK. nuff said

  • SOLD. I'm getting one now

  • 3:35 Epic belch

  • just picked mine up in od green shot 100rds through it simply awesome...everything glock wishes it was

  • I agree with the other comments on the plastic cup being used for small parts. I like your idea of placing rounds in it. But I also noticed a guy from beretta using it as a stand for the gun on a review. The guy placed the trigger down in it and the bottom of the grip and the front of the barrel on the table and the gun stayed up. So I guess you can use it as a display for your gun... If you want to that is.

  • Its use to place springs and pins when you are taking the fire arm apart

  • ..if a dog cannot swim, is then the water the reason why??

Cant handle the gun? - Blame it on the rain buddy!!

  • Do you have any idea when the Inox comes out? I really like that gun and I am planning to get the Inox. Congratulation for yours..

  • plastic cups is for small part for the gun when you strip it down. Great review.

  • Comment removed

  • You probably shouldn't show your serial number. Not safe.

  • In reference to your comment about the smooth grip. Hogue makes a grip that fixes that completely. I can't think of the name off the tp of my head but it should be easy to find.

  • hammer fired boat anchor. outdated design covered up with trivial aesthetics. You wont see them in the hands of a tactical professional or on the competition range. Double action to single action trigger has no place anymore when the consistant trigger pull of striker fired guns now dominates the market.

  • @HYBRIDCOMBATIVES Yes I have not noticed as many 1911's @ my local gun range lately, prolly because you could buy like 2 glocks for the price of 1 good 1911. However a 1911 is something you could shoot and still pass it along to your grand kids.

  • @TacGuy45 you can pass a rock that you have thrown down to your grand kids as well. I don't follow your point.

  • @HYBRIDCOMBATIVES My point was how much tuperware would hold up over the next 100yrs?

  • lol why would u wanna conceal a sexy gun like the Px4 Storm?

  • Sounds like a water gun.

  • its a cup holder, definitely a cup holder.

  • nice video bro

  • I've got the type C PX$, mine has the spurless hammer and no decocker. I was told by Beretta the sights were made to be changed very easily.

  • I put my weed in the blue cup

  • gave you a thumbs up but you tend to cuss a lot my man

    nonetheless nice handgun

  • Does anybody know if the Beretta/Stoeger Cougar will accept Px4 mags?

also is that a KMK tat?

  • The belch in the middle of the video was a nice, classy touch.

  • ive seen a lot of em for $400-480. 560 seems a bit high priced.

  • I think that cup like thing is a paper weight,LOL!

  • I use the cup to drop oil into it and use a brush applicator to clean and lube.

  • It's an ashtray

  • it's stupid, but the blue cup is the actual stand for the gun to put it like in the display in the stand - up position. One touch point is the handle and the frame around the trigger laid on the blue cup.

  • It was my 1st pistol as well. Except I got the 40 cal. Great purchase n great video

  • .40 17+1

  • I heard the blue cup is a stand for your gun. You stick the bottom on the grip in it. My mother owns this gun in .45 and I tried that and it works, but honestly I guess you could use it for anything. Not sure if it's really for a stand. Just was told by someone else.

  • how wet do you run it? do you lube the inside parts of the frame, like the trigger and hammer mechanism?

  • That is a parts cup. The Px4 Storm was the first gun to use interchangeable back straps. After the Px4 Storm came out, S&W did it on their M&P, then Ruger on their SR9 and lastly Glock on the Gen 4 models. I have my Px4 Storm since October 07 and the only failure to feed issues I had was the first round on my two 20 round magazines after running 700 rounds through the gun without a cleaning. Personally, I will NEVER use steel cased ammo in any of my guns, EVER! Reply if you want to know why

  • I don't like the Glock thumb-groove, if you use a 'high thumbs' grip you won't even notice the PX4 not having one. The gun shoots awesome and never really malfunctions but you're right about the magazines not feeding steel-case ammo. The gun shoots it ok but the mags just jam up with steel - which is usually cheapo, dirty Russian crap anyway. That cup is one of life's mysteries and is the source of much speculation on the Beretta forum.

  • My barrel on my PX4 40S&W got bulged 3 days ago, possibly due to bad ammo, probably squib but I was pissed...right now the gun is on the way to one of berretas gunsmiths and I hope they cover the barrel since it costs 340 bucks

  • Thanks for the review - just ordered one for the girlfriend.

  • The cilidrical toob is to prop up your gun when show casing it

  • Thanks for the review. I'm looking for a new gun for the first time in like 20 years, and also helping my son pick out his first gun.

We will definitely be looking more into the Px4 line from Beretta!

btw, the words "sexy" and "Italian" always go well together!

  • Have you tried the Hornady Steel Match ammo? I really love this gun and plan on purchasing one at the end of the year but I use a lot of the Hornady steel match in my kel-tec 9mm in practice and Hornady critical defense to carry and it would be nice if this gun would eat the steel match ammo as well.

  • @Adam0041SVT I haven't tried it yet, so i don't know. My guess is it would act the same as any steel cased ammo in the px4's mags, but then again it might not so i'd just say give it a try man.

  • The blue cup is there to keep the case from compressing onto the gun, and damaging it.

  • @DELTA9224 A quick phone call to Beretta says the cup is to put your parts and such in when you take the gun down

  • @cevans2021 What parts fit in that tiny cup?

  • The blue plastic thing could be an ashtray.

  • The angles are anti-glare.

  • Cylinder is to keep box from losing it's form, and you can balance gun on it at trigger if setting on table to show it off.

  • I regret selling this gun wishing I still had it but yeah I was confused too bout that cup looking thing lol

  • just picked one of these up yesterday for 470 $ at sportsmans warehouse brand new, cant wait to get on the range with it !

  • Nice review brother.

Just shot my new PX4 45 today for the first time, and I agree..f'n sweet indeed.

what are your thoughts on replacing the plastic guide rod with a stainless steel one?

This gun is solid and just feels right when i'm putting lead downrange.

My god, stripping and cleaning are a breeze, makes cleaning an AK look difficult!

I'm a pig in shit with this pistol!

lol at all the blue cylinder speculation, I think it's a cookie dough cutter..

    peace

  • @endtimes2012 I dont really think guide rod replacement would be necessary but i think it'd look sweet with a stainless steel one. Anyone that has shot mine have all said the same thing... they want one lol.

  • The blue cylinder thing is a presentation stand...

  • @MatteoBanelli It was my first handgun purchase, and i have to say im glad it was. You got all the safety features, accuracy, feel, and looks that you really want/need in a first handgun.

  • FYI,the blue plastic cup looking thing is simply something beretta puts in the case so the case doesn't get crushed. now,you can use it for what ever you like but that's the true purpose of it. glad you like your px4. i'm thinking of getting the INOX version when it comes out.

  • @priler Yea that INOX looks sweet might have to pick one up myself.

  • @TheFireArmorer dude the blue cup is for display... put it on the table the put your trigger guard in the shallow end of the cup... it holds it up and makes it look pretty

  • would a holster not accidentally cause the slide to fall off?

  • @ArmedOkie no lol. when you fire the last shot in the mag, the slide locks back. you insert a new mag and then if you want to you hit the slide release, which makes it go forward and chamber the round.

  • wow... the plastic round thing that comes with it thats sort of like a cup is so when u detail strip it u can put all ur parts there and not lose anything... of course... u can use it for w/e u want

  • Just got a px4 9mm and love it. The wife uses the little blue circle for a cookie cutter, LMAO !!! Just kidding the dealer said its for protecting the gun during shipping and for a stand to display the gun.

  • 3,000 rounds through mine and not one jam. Great firearm.

  • Good review. I have the .40 and love it! Agree with everything you say about it. The cup is a stand you put under the trigger guard to set it vertically.

  • the plastic cylinder cup thingy might be a gun stand you set under the trigger guard area to set you gun upright.

  • I love this gun.. purchased right around the time this vid was uploaded. I had the same issues with my CCI Blazer rounds (aluminum alloy shit). That blue thing that comes with the pistol is so the case doesnt get crushed (possibly scratching the finish) during shipping or from some careless person at the gun shop. I actually like this gun alot better than the Glock .

  • hey man good video and nice gun......do you know if is there is any reason or function for the rotating barrel???

  • hows the px4 treating you?? i own a glock and s&w...the xdm was eye candy and now the px4 just gave me a hard-on...hows the trigger pull? accuracy? and is it light weight like a glock? let me know.

  • @KING5TORM1418 I really like it man. Single action trigger pull is very nice, probably around 4 lbs. The double is closer to 10 i'd imagine. I have no problems with accuracy, seems to really get the job done, and the recoil is very minimal, easy to stay aligned for follow up shots. and yes to me it seems just as light as any other polymer gun. Hope that helps, thanks for watching!

  • Fucking Good Pistol

  • get the type c, no saftey/decocker = great CCW piece

  • The cup is what they call a "crush cup" it's mainly for the case not getting crunched during shipping or if you leave it on the ground and step on it, basically it's a form of a support beam

  • I don't know what the plastic cup is for either, however, my Stoeger Cougar also came with the same thing. The Px4 design is based on the Cougar, with the same rotating barrel, but I can't imagine that the cup could be related to that. Regardless, both are excellent firearms. I have a Cougar in 9mm and a Storm in .40 S&W.

  • The blue cup you have at the end of the video is ,well I guess like a cup that's used for a stand for the gun. That's what I seen on another px4 storm video anyway. I love my px4 storm subcompact .40,might get one in a .45 not sure yet.Either that or a Kimber Pro CDP II.........Nice vid

  • Amigos de Casualidad sabras como ajustar los puntos de mira de la PX4 el Alza y el Guion que estan un poco a la derecha, gracias.

  • i didn't get a plastic thing... or spare grips... but i also got it for 520 when it first came out..

  • Good review I have some questions ;

the frame rails are plastic or steel ?

how the trigger reset feel when you do rapid fire? any issue with the plastic guide rod ?

  • @revistadearmas The front guide rails are steel and the rear are part plastic part steel so theyre kinda like @===@ (The @ is plastic and = is steel)

the trigger reset is great in my opinion and rapid fire is nice and controllable.

No issues with the plastic guide rod

    Thanks for watching!

  • The round thing is to keep the gun case from being crushed during shipment . . . at least that's what a firearms distributor told me . . . I was curious too.

  • i have the beretta px4 .45acp version. and yes it is a good gun. but if i was ganna buy a 45 to shoot often, it prob wouldnt be the px4. just because the polymer frame makes the gun lighter, not a very good aspect when u really need the wight to absorb the recoil. thats the worst part about the px4 in .45 the recoil is so great it takes a few seconds just to re-align your sights. still a great gun.

  • Sweet gun! I just bought the Px4 type F in .40 for $465 with free shipping. Cant wait to get it.

  • @xSTH1TMANx what website ?

  • the plastic thing is a stand for the pistol and you can use it for putting stuff in it such as pins and parts of the gun when cleaning. just ordered this gun in .40 cal this morning :) man i cant wait!!!!!

  • By the way, you sound like Daniel Tosh.

  • I have one too by the way 9MM, 17+1 F Series with manual safety/decocker. The plastic tingy is an anti-crush cup for support since the box it comes with is so small.

The box the Px4storm comes with is very small Vs other full-size pistols' boxes. The rotating barrel mechanism reduces recoil, i duno if you notice that compare to the glock 17,19.

Nice pistol but a lil too heavy and the levers can get snagged with your clothes when drawing from concealed carry. Anyway, happy shootin

  • I can see its serial number, i duno if you care.

  • Also could you be more specific on the steel ammo issue. I haven't put a round through mine yet but I was looking for a cheap source of ammo and bulk steel was going to be it

  • Check out the official px4 storm review from berettacommunity and you will see how the round thing is used as a stand. Also at the end they show how the slide is made an tested. Which explains on why my px4 was all scratched to fuck when it was pulled out of the box. Keep the vids rolling

  • Good review, you could of also mentioned all the other models of the px4 rather than the just the type f. The round plastic thing is used as a stand for the pistol I assume. That's what a beretta rep used it as in a review that I watched.

  • @MegaDibart Thanks man. Yea to be honest I haven't got to try any of the other types. I've seen the D on a video but thats it. I'll try to mention them in a later video once I get some more info.

  • @MegaDibart Yea it's hard to put in words what happens. so i'll get a video up tonight showing exactly what happens with the steel ammo. Jus check in, it should be up tonight.

  • The little round thing is to put the little parts in when you take the pistol apart...

  • My favorite gun...
