While an interesting presentation, as a proud American who loves our National Anthem and our country, only wish that they had their facts right. The depictions of the Revolution and the use of colonies rather than states only detracts from the overall presentation.

Please, if possible, redo this but with the correct historical references.

this was during the war of 1812, the song was writen in 1814, the war was still on. By 1814 we were a Soverign Nation NOT Colonies we were States.

Thank you for posting this excellent presentation that is so needed at this time of trouble in our country when there are those who hate what our flag stands for would drag us into despotic hell.

My son's 4th grade class is studying the Revolutionary War. I will be forwarding this to his teacher. This will also have a place of honor in my Facebook profile.

I am a singer, but after this I will never be able to make it all the way through this song again.

He is mistaken, Francis Scott Key was not involved in any negotiations about Revolutionary prisoner exchanges, he wasn't born yet

FSK observed teh shelling of Fort McHenry from a British ship in the war of 1812

@HRMOKeefe -- The story Jack Webb relates happened during the War of 1812, and he WAS involved in the exchange before he wrote the piece. It's historical fact.
