Thanks for posting this! I just watched a steady dense stream of crows fly by for like 40 minutes straight outside my window. Tens upon tens of thousands heading towards downtown MPLS. They were not circling past either, unless their circle was miles wide. Just stopped as the setting sun's reflected light was running out.

It is well known behavior for crows (and a number of other birds) to "roost" by the thousands, even tens of thousands or more in that way near sundown in the winter months before they go off to sleep. There are different theories as to why they do it, but none entirely conclusive..
