  • So cOOl!!..

  • I won a talent show a few weeks ago at my high school with a loop pedal. They're so much fun.

  • Good stuff...gonna help me out.

  • beau morceau...

  • What guitar is he playing on?

  • @rookybooby

it looks like a Gibson ES 335, same kinda guitar chcuck berry used

  • Great tone. Cool dub/reggae tune.

  • 335?

  • Such a warm sound. Like somebody already said, very relaxing.

  • This is so relaxing, nice playing

  • I have a RC 2, and it's guaranteed 5 years....

  • what kind of guitar? i might be getting one like this

  • i love his clean tone...

  • nice guitar et playing matey

    x

  • what chords is he using?

  • Am Dm

  • A minor for 8 beats

D minor for 8 beats using a reggae rhythm pattern in the left hand

    for improv:

A minor pentatonic scale.....lots of reverb on the amp too

    have fun

  • movable pentatonics?

  • are you playing A minor?

  • A minor and D minor

  • if your really struggling finding licks for your to use over chords practice, just play anything on the neck until you find something that works then you know you'll be able to use that and just learn your neck. honestly the best way of doing it I need me a loop pedal lol.

  • You're great man! Nice guitar, too! ;)

  • I like your stil =P WOW unexplainable what you can do with just two chords

  • Nice vid man, keep 'em coming!

  • great man!

  • please, what type of scales do you use in this vid ?

  • I'd say pentatonics, as to which key, I don't have the ear to tell yet.

  • I think its Am (La minor), but I guess it would also sound good in Bm (Si minor), and I think there were also bits of natural and melodic scales,

    anyways very nice

    that reverby-semi-hollow tune is awesome

  • I like this a lot, it reminds me of The Doors.

I'm going to rate 5 stars!

  • yea it reminds me of whiskey bar or alabama song, idk which to call it, everytime i download it its called something different..

  • All good. What sort of geetar is that? Sounds sweet.

I also have very little idea about guitar - Is that Minor Pentatonic you are playing there?

  • I approve.

  • wow! I like the sound of this pedal. can looping pedals multi-track stuff? and can it store ur music snippets...or do they erase itself once u stop it playing?

  • yeah I wondered the same thing....is there any way to save your jams, or is it one of those things that gets erased when you start over?

  • very cool your should play the looping festivals

  • I love the part where you start with a bend and release it.

  • sounds nice! Brad Conroy

  • My Boss RC-2 loop station just died on me, no more warranties so maybe just bad luck.

    fred

  • My ME-50 did that a few times and it has a way to reset factory setting. That erased stored settings, but fixed the pedalboard.

  • Wow, you might make my day. What would be the way to do that?

Thanks man, you give me hope.

    fred

  • very nice...love it

  • that is the sweetest shit ever

  • whut two chords were those? that u recorded

  • sounds like Am then Dm, barred on the fifth fret

  • you need to change the video to "me jacking off my guitar".

  • lol

  • got one-they're sweet

  • Great tone, wish i could get that out of my guitar/amp

  • love the tone!

  • What be your gear, piano man?

  • what do you mean?

  • What loop pedal are you using, would you recommend Boss RC-2 loop station?

  • I bought the RC-2 recently. It's a nice little pedal. I'm not sure if you're ready to shell out $170, but otherwise the pedal is a handy little tool.

  • Haha I love it... But kinda reminds me of a Grocery store song lol...

  • gives me a western feeling. Makes me think of some dejected hero, limping through the desert in scuffed black leather boots a grimace on his face. Maybe his eyes are slits against the gritty sand in the air as he sticks a thumb out to each car that passes in hopes of hitchhiking his way back to glory. Funny how music can do that!

  • WOW.....Yeah, it does do that.

  • demasiado arrecho mi pana great men

  • check " rig3 "

  • need me one of these

  • Yeap...this is off the hooK! good job!

  • And the pedal???????I had a Jam Man(digitech)which was ,,crap,,got a boss (the in between size), it had the most disgusting beats in it,,anyway, got a Gnx 4. I can run my recording gear, including PoD into it and hook it up to my interface and use the 8 track w/ my own loops .wav fles,,worth every penny.

  • you put wonderfull feeling into that, nice one!

  • is that the boss pedal?

  • Nice jam, I use a Boss RC-20xl ,which loop pedal do you use? Love the clean tone.

  • man that music is so sexy for sure :P

  • just great man!! nice sound ,very clear !!

  • Which loop pedal are you using here? Sounds really nice!

  • yeh?

  • Great sound, what is your gear ?

  • Absolutely great vid. Love hearing others solo with themselves.

  • Yeah I also detected a little SRV there ;) great playing man, keep it up.

  • very nice

  • what loop pedal are you using?

  • Sounds a lot like Robert Plant's "Big Log," which is one of his best. This really took me back. Thx! Great stuff!

    Crash

  • Hey, thanks for the comment I just went to check robert plant video "Big Log" really cool.

I like what you are doing, you have a cool voice.

    Thanks again.

    fred

  • Very enjoying, VERY enjoying.

  • Hi,

What scale are you playing? Where can I learn a scale like that in which I can improvise like that?

    Thanks

  • What? Do you mean that he plays a pentatonic scale? Urgh, dunno, I know shit about scales.

  • blues scale? also known as pentatonic with an extra note.

    Blues scale in E-

    E G A A# B D E

just move that around and find new stuff. you can play those 6 notes your entire life and still find new stuff

  • sounds like stevie ray vaughn kinda style! nice!

  • Hey, thanks for the tips, I remember my first guitar teacher telling me about those scales 20 years ago. Today I decided to byu this loop and start playing again, I have a long way to go before I can enjoy myself improvising. Thanks again. fred

  • ok so you got an Am Dm progression with a A minor pentatonic scale and a pure minor(aoelian) scale over it, heres a new idea to try man. Try Am-Dmajor and use an A dorian(a b c d e f# g a) The major 6th has so much more flavor added and the f# also makes your dm a dmajor, try it bro, it is a scale dominant in jazz but ROCKS in all styles ;p

  • coole Sache das. Fein Ding zum Üben, gell?

(nice thing for training and lonesome jamming, isn't?

  • Thanks for your coments, it is really cool. fred
