  • Hi

  • If I saw a spider attacking a bird Idc I'd kill the spider in a HOT second

  • isnt it meant to be bird eating spider

  • Its forged bull crap...how would he get a perfect picture of a spider just jumping on a birds head...an especially a spider that big...I want to be an entomologist (hence the name) yet that thing would scare the sh*t out of me

  • that was the most interesting i have ever watched, not!

  • Totally fake you can tell that the spider and the bird are fake

  • I would kill this shit instantly if it was my garden

  • Dayam!

  • the poor bird

  • isnt it bird eating spider

  • OMG this spider just looks like giratina from pokemon!

  • @WhatIsThatGuyDoing2 no offence but u look gay if u say that word

  • Golden orb weavers can 'potentially' grow to about the same span as a human hand, but 3 or 4 inches across is more like the average. Cases of certain large spiders feeding on birds caught in their webs are rare but not unknown. It should be said that so-called Bird-eating spiders in South America are only so-named because of their size, not their feeding habits. Their name is a misnomer.

  • damned nephilidae, they make those gigantic webs that are strong enough to even catch small birds.

  • Fake and gay

  • @IEatFruitCake

not fake, but this vid is gay i agree

  • real spider fake bird=]

  • LMAO

  • It could be a fake, yes. Some spiders often eat birds and frogs, but it's a little bit strange with a bad quality pic...

  • this would scare me :/

not to be a skeptic but uh

  • That spider is called a GOLDEN ORB found in Australia. That photo was taken in Cairns, North Queensland

  • UtahMike41 NOT in every case. The male funnel web greatly out sizes the female, and is far more venomous. He is especially dangerous to any solid piece of matter in between him and a female during the mating season, nasty fellow.

  • This is a female. The males are about the size of a nickel. Figures, right?

  • holy crap those things grow big. i bet in places like the phillipines, you can find them as big as your body

  • If you saw this at Lindamen Island, QLD it's the same one I saw!

  • huge spider

  • Hahahahahaha you are too funny cucumb*!!

  • @Vleeskind Your wrong btw, if you intend to post research at least make it accurate

The spider didn't eat the video camera, there is no video.

It appeared in a property in Atherton near Cairns, Australia, and if you had bothered to research much you would have found at least 3 diffrent photo's of this giant Tropical Golden Orb Weaver.
