I can agree with you that political correctness is subjective, one mans insult can be another mans compliment; however, I think we should always make it a point to at least try. Political correctness is not a tool used to get dimwits to agree with arguements. Dimwits will agree with arguements whether it's politically correct or not. Islam *can* be a religion of peace is a better way of saying that, because that is the truth. Some muslims are very peaceful and some aren't, same goes with every religion. I get what you're saying, but I do think we should try our best not to offend and only use straight facts instead of biased remarks

Yes, the koran may say some forms of violence is okay, but the bible and torah say stoning to death rebellious children and people who wear different fabrics is the way to go (which is also violence). We don't see christians and jews stoning people left and right so why should we expect muslims to? This is about being smart, not politically correct. Obviously you don't know much about the koran or the bible.
