Well if you actually stopped and payed attention to the map you would realize that the only way to kill people is if you have the battle rifle or the sword, there are only two battle rifles on the map and the sword is right next to the battle rifle tower. Which means that if you get the sword you control the battle rifle tower and you basically win the game because no one can come in and kill you and your team now.

Blackout and Lockout have some differences between each other. In Blackout there are more jumps to do than Lockouts. Which can determine which map is better.

Actually, I have lockout, there are no new jumps, it's just that it is easier to reach each jump, because in Halo 3, you jump higher, Halo 2 was harder to jump because... well... you didn't jump as high.

Blackout killed a LOT of jumps, some good some bad, they kept some and added a few good ones. But BR 3 is too powerful now. Sniper tower has fewer sniper spots, which can be good or bad. Wait for MLG to make MLG blackout and it will be good =D

For some reason I think Blackout is the worst of the 3 maps, I might even consider it one of the worst Halo 3 maps. Don't ask me why but for some reason I can't feel the enjoyment I got from playing Lockout. Lockout completely fitted in Halo 2 but Blackout just doesn't fit in Halo 3, it's too much of a camp map and too simple, I miss the complication some other maps have. I'm sorry if you disagree but that's just what I feel. Ghosttown however I really underestimated, that one is fabulous!

Blackout is pretty fun to play on, it just seems so different from lockout because of the graphic overhaul. I say it turned out better than I expected.

I actually realised that Blackout at least for me is compareable what Foundry was for the Heroic MP. Everyone thought Foundry was gonna be the best due to the forge possibilites and Blackout was expected to be marvelous because we enjoyed it so much on Halo2. However in the end (at least for me, and I know for thousands of others) Foundry was a big disappointment in MM and I'd rather have it totaly removed from MM, same goes for Blackout. It just doesn't feel playright for some odd reason.
