I rather watch it without sound...it's way too jarring....but definitely looks like a unique film even for its own era...

I couldn't agree more.

The music was unbearable to me, so I had to keep it turned off all the time.

Most of all, it is redundant, even disrespectful to the film itself.

It seems to be following - rather than complementing - the rhythm and emotional "atmosphere" that the director was trying to convey.

But a film like this does not need "pumping up".

And if it was a personal interpretation... who needs it? :)

I wanted to watch the film - not listen to auditory interpretations.
