We are afraid of change but if we work toward positive reform, the benefits will be vastly rewarding in the long run.

There's things that can be done to help lower-income Americans besides a massive government run bureaucracy. Allow people to buy coverage across state lines. Eliminate taxes paid on premiums. Implement tort reform. All of it would go a long way and be better in the long run.

The best way to make healthcare accessible is to defend everyone that provides it.

Republicans do in fact care about American prosperity. However, they take it one step at a time. You can't do so many things in different order by a little bit and expect immediate change. Let's see what way is more efficient here: We have 10 problems. Over the course of 8 years we solve one problem per year. Only focusing on that problem. Another option is working on all 10 problems at the same time during the 8 years. You simply won't have enough time.

Exactly how American Capitalism is supposed to work. Capitalism with all it's flaws still provides an insanely high standard of living for it's people. I have family members in Trinidad that are "rich" by their standards but materially have WAY less than any supposedly "dirt poor" American low income family. There's things that can be done to help lower-income Americans besides a massive government run bureaucracy. Allow people to buy coverage across state lines. Eliminate taxes paid on premiums. Implement tort reform. All of it would go a long way and be better in the long run.

I never do understand how "accessible healthcare" is seen as only obtainable when we have "government-run healthcure." Why don't we remove those things that make healthcare inaccessible-like lawsuits that make it impossible to compete in healthcare, government regulations that make healthcare expensive to provide, and failing to protect patents on new techniques and medicines developed by our healthcare providers? The best way to make healthcare accessible is to defend everyone that provides it.

If she had come across as more caring, kind, and personable and spent more time with the people laying out her plans for the state, I'm sure she would have won. The woman went on vacation 3 weeks before the election day and yet still got 47% of the vote.
