  • nice playing mate!

  • @musicisnotharaam @tuck234

They are stock Duncan Designed Humbuckers. The guitar is stock, no mods. I have one just like it. For $200.00 you can't beat it.

  • cheap and great giutar

  • its ALLin the fingers !!! Sam can make a $100 guitar sound great !!!!

  • dude, did you change the pick ups in the strat or is it your amp, cuz my squire sure as hell doesn't sound like that!!!

  • i want to know that lick he plays @ 1:37

  • wish my squire strat sounded like this

  • is that the hot rails strat

  • gad dem it, I FEEL THIS TUNE!!! right to the effin soul man. \m/

  • can I put Like more times??

  • In your soul man!

  • @fluenty9

    like your omlettes!

check out monkey fest !! tickets 50 pounds or 70 to camp weekend

100 for vip including private lesson.

    im seriously considering.

get stuck in grab it by the horns !!

  • That Squier is Sounding SWEET...My Guess on the Pick Ups are "Lace Sensor (Blue, Silver, Red Combo) or Lace Sensor "Hot Gold Combo 3 Pack"

  • @phillyfan1214 Nop, that looks like a Squier Deluxe Hot Rails. It has Duncan Designed Hot Rails. Awesome axe and it is damn cheap. That's the beauty of the high-end Squiers, they're great guitars with great quality and they're cheap (other example of a great high-end Squier are the Classic Vibe)

  • @phillyfan1214 it sounds sweet because its fake

  • @Guitarplayer1469 What's the point of your comment? I saw you leaving a similar comment on another video. He has played with Walter Trout, isn't that enough of an evidence for his skill? How can you think this was fake..?

  • @llgnr i still believe it is fake

  • Que banana

  • Only bad squires at all are the bullet and affinity. Check their other models out, I used to think squier sucked but after playing a classic vibe, my entire outlook on squier changed

  • Amazing talent. How you get your fingers to move soooo fast is beyond me. You're a gifted bloke. Definitely the best guitarist on You Tube. Those who criticise your playing had better put their money where their mouths are or keep their comments to themselves. You rock!!!

  • @alangriff1 Are you sure that you've heard all the guitarist on youtube ??? (+ there's no "the best guitarist"!)

  • Squires are just as good and sometimes better than the true fenders

  • seriously i really would like to know, is this an emg pre wired pick guard you have attached and if so, did you have any difficulties installing it in a squier?

  • Looks like a standard Hotrails Squire to me.

  • thats an EMG kirk hammet pickguard you have installed in your squire correct? if so did you have any problems installing it? i know fenders have a different number of mounting holes. i have a decently made squire, but it really doesnt suit my skill level or the kind of music i prefer to play. would you recommend this pickguard? i was consedering the one with the 81 humb. in the bridge.

  • @ben10sk8r I don't think there is an sss kh signature pickguard available... maybe I missed out?

  • you destroyed the guitar!!!! :D

which pedal are you using for the distortion?

  • Oh my god I've exactly the same guitar but it doesn't sound so well!! You must not be for nothing in that ;-)

    a fan from France

  • Best style on youtube.

  • those cant be stock pups..

  • As awesome as this sounds, I would love to hear what you would sound like playing this tune on a genuine EVH Frankenstrat. Have you ever played one?

  • i hate how people misspells "Squier"

  • Hey dude, nice playing! What kind of Squier is that? Plain strat, or modded?

  • @Hqwat looks like the squier strat with the duncan designed rails, it's on the site.

  • @Hqwat im not 100% sure but im thinking he modded it with and pre _wired EMG pickquard. probably one of kirk hammetts signatures.

  • @ben10sk8r No know likes know it all's just saying .

  • nice sound... what distortion pedal are you using?

  • @whoosoo I'm guessing he's playing right into a boss recorder (br-1200) like he does for most of his vids...

  • @brossej07 Thanks for that response

  • Dude for your style of playing you should get a les paul, your playing is very alike to zakk wylde humbuckers would make you sound insane!!!

  • @MrBertStone He owns one rofl.... with BKP Nailbombs in it

  • Dude for your style of playing you should get a les paul humbuckers would make you sound insane!!!

  • i had to watch this video several times. just amazing.

    truely inspirational.

  • Squiers are built by machines in Japan. They are to Fender specs but supposedly "have no souls". Seems to me they are like dead-accurate Fenders and although they are not handbuilt, this one is a clear example of what to do right with them. many studio musicians and pros use them for tonal accuracy. A good setup can be just like an ESP. Plays like a 15,000 guitar.

  • Hey Sam, Went to the Experience Hendrix Show last night and saw Steve Vai, Eric Johnson, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Mato, Jonny Lang, Brad Whitford among others. It was a great show. The only thing that would have made it better is if you were there playing your version of Foxey Lady. You could have held your own easily among the group.

  • damn.... this rocks the shit out of me!!!!

    the dude got some skills!!

  • tell u wot m8, u play really fuckin well like.

  • what kind of pickups are those ?

  • People arguing over GH vs. real guitar are fucking retarded. I'm quite confident that no one who plays guitar hero actually thinks they're doing anything on the level of a real instrument. I'm guessing the only reason any of you have to be threatened by it is that you all suck at your instrument.

One's a game, one's an instrument. Stop making it a competition for fucks sake.

  • hey i really dig this strat what kinda mods did you do? what pickups in it? and what series of squire is this

  • Speed it up a little bit sounds like your at half speed besides that no issues (altough you would save yourself a lot of trouble if you used your thumb on that main riff)

  • Guitar Hero-1 strum bar + 5 buttons = 5 notes

    real electric guitar-6 strings x 25 notes = 125 notes + 1000 chords

i think it is kind of obvious who wins

  • sounds like your using 9's

  • good stuff

  • Brilliant, what more can i say...

  • Now that's just effin awesome keep doin what you do

  • @FeltDownHard Doesn't have to be written to be good man :) Some of the best solo's ever recorded were done on the spot, and it's often the first take... Even if there are mistakes, always go with the first take, coz there's more feel... Stuff like this is awesome, coz the intension is there, and the ideas just flow...

  • reminds me of Zakk Wylde

  • i like i'm impressed ...but you've got that ray vaughn/vanhalen style...

  • great!!!!!!!!

  • faved for the awesomeness...

fived for the style and skill...

and subbed for the shirt :) loool

    keep up the awesomeness

  • 1000/5

  • Dude you are rockin out hardcore here! 5*

  • dude howd you get that sound from a squier? i have one and it doesn't sound like that

  • Take off that shirt!

  • @eldervinnie Keep you panties on love! haha

  • @coulsonsam87 What Kind of pick-ups are those? DiMarzio's?

  • @eldervinnie when you play this well you can wear whatever shirt you want

  • @eldervinnie

i took my shirt off but nothing happened ?

  • Yes, you're a guitar hero, indeed :)

  • Never ever stop young 'un... Keep pushing forever.

  • holy shit! dude you seriously need to get a band and play that live you'd be Famous!

  • Your timing, vibrato, fluidity are just jaw dropping... but above this, you've got an incredible feeling, it's no technique demonstration. You're an amazing musician, you really are.

  • wow! i have the same guitar same colour, only i swapped the necks round to a squier standard strat maple neck maple fingerboard and change the pickups to dimarzio HS3 in the bridge and 2 YJM's in the middle and neck and it sounds awesome!

  • well done!!!!

  • Haha love the t-shirt. So long as it's ironic of course, fuck guitar hero.

  • Good playing!

  • $#iT!! now thats a fucking facemelter..

    5*

  • dude! how do you get that tone?! It sounds huge no matter which guitar youre playing. What amp is that?

  • dude trust me squier guitars are really great! that guitar has duncan designed rail pickups which are high output single coils. the body is made of BASSWOOD, which is a pretty good wood. check out squier guitars dude, also its better if you get a squier deluxe, but change the pickups. thats what i did with mine and now it sounds and stays in tune better than a Yngwie Malmsteen signature fender.

  • awsome cover dude jimmy would be proud 5/5

  • I just love when a guy can play with that much feel, ya know???

  • may i ask you how you do that thing in teh beggining is it a vibrato done without picking the string and just put the volume up?

  • lolololololol

  • @ShaveYourBoots

The -video game- guitar hero, has flat nothing to do with the -musical instrument- guitar.

One is a controller, the other is an instrument.

They are not related in the least, nor are the skills required to operate or play them related.

  • hahaha,

i wasnt making a joke at all.

  • Ah... Written sarcasm is difficult to detect. I've seen many people post the same thing who were very much serious.

  • sound like george lynch

  • I was wondering if I have the same amount of technic you had when you were 16?

Also how much time do you spend improvising every day?

  • WOW Grande tio 5 stars

  • pure inspiration to make me play more. 5 stars

  • Ok Sam I've looked through all the post and I can't find where you might have said what PU's your using...Please tell us.

  • Five stars man...that was so awsome.

What kinds of scales are your using?

  • this improv is based around the minor pentatonic scale... which is the basis for most blues rock solos. it has many extensions and variations to apply, so individuality and creativity (plus lots of practice) give you your own sound and technique through it. very simple and fun scale to learn, but a challenge to master.

  • couldnt have put it better myself, thanks mate

  • @NylonCryptus Only a guitarist could give this answer. Any classic musician would laugh at you for calling it a challenge to master pentatonic scale.

  • Comment removed

  • @KuchikiByakuyaftw easy to learn the basic formula i agree, how many classical musicians could use it as effectively as blues/rock musicians or even the world music from which it originates i wonder

  • Realy good

  • wow i loved the gilbert licks you threw in there

  • how did you make a squire sound so damn good?

  • changed the pickup probably

  • what kind of pickups are those i have the same guitar by the way

  • I think that they might be passive emg pickups, I could be wrong though :P

  • wow....5/5 very nice ver'

    thanks you

  • kickass!! thats one wicked guitarist right there...u rule bro

  • rockkkk n roll!

  • Golly, dude. You're choking the fuck out of that thing - it's intense!

Kinda like a SRV/ZAKK WYLDE/ PAUL GILBERT thing happening here. Ridiculous! :-D

  • im sooo impresed... playin guitar for 5 years and im impresed really

  • Godly.

  • you are an inspiration.

  • keep grinding bro... you rock.

  • 4:40 - 4:45 bridge is sweet!

  • killer. just killer.

  • what pickup's are in this? try some BKP Apaches; I don't have them, just a member of their forum, and the Apaches scream!

  • won't be long, and someone will be giving him all the guitars he wants.

  • hey awesome playing and improvise whats te name of that guitar magazine u subscribed too mate think i mightget it aswel??

  • Squier should be paying you man, never heard one played better.

You are kind of a fret grinder tho--ever play

stainless frets? My first custom guitar has a new bronze-alloy fretwire that's not quite as cold-sounding, check 'em out!

  • Looks like a richie blackmoore strat?

  • Thats really awesome dude, love the sounds. You ROCK!!!!

  • hey i have the same strat, you got the hot rails on there right?

  • heyyy ive watched shi' loads of your videos and i was just wonderingg what strings do you use?

  • thanks mate, at the moment im using some pretty light strings. just 9s in this video. they work well with my wide vibrato but you loose a bit of tone using light strings

  • Lol, ive commented a few of your vids, but each one just is like " WOW" :O your an Idol XD

  • cheers my friend, keep on rocking! the louder the faster the better

  • WHA!! very good. 5 stars

  • Your are a great musicman =]

You a re one of my favorit guitar hero (L)

Ps; please what is your amp?

  • thanks very much. im not actually using an amp at all here. i am running into a boss 12track desk (where i recorded the backing track) and using the inbuilt effects and the straight out into my sterio

  • Ok thanks =D, the sound is very intresting, I'm thinging if I will run as you ^^"

(Moreover I really like your way to play the pink panther^^)

  • awesome as always! 5/5 and goes to Favourite...wow....just WOOOOW

  • ooohh foxy lady! rockin stuff

  • Im speachless. Woow! 5/5

  • awesome stuff dude,

tell me this, how do you get so much sustain? active pickups? or some sort of pedal? cheers :)

  • cheers mate, the trick for sustain is to get the gain cranked all the way and use your volume pot to adjust it. no flash gear here, just a squire into a boss 12track

  • Magic ! Impressive my friend :) Vibratos are just perfect !

  • wow dude its been a long time since you uploaded a video here loved it man and nice to see you with a strat for a change :D you rocked btw can you tell us what was your equipment ?:)

  • Hats off to you sir, that rocked!!

  • you playing over this has almost a zakk wylde presense w/ the wah and the vibrato, and the general playing, were you aiming for that?

  • thanks mate. i have always loved his vibrato and tried to make mine big and wide, but i dont reay like using a wah so i get the treble boost by flicking to the bridge pickup

  • really? it sounded alot like you popped it back to make a tubey sound

  • yeah, no wah. i guess the middle pickup gives that impression maybe.

  • thats possible i spose,

  • amazing dude, just quite amazing

  • man...that rocks!

  • Absolutely massive sound! Whether it be a Strat or a Les Paul, it's still vintage SammyC!

  • Ive said it before, and i'll say it again .... Sammy ... Epic playing dude!

  • killer sound man looks weird you rippen it up on a STRAT

  • OH ya,

    Sammy's back!

  • Nice

  • sweet dude.....

  • Damn!

    5 stars

  • E x lC IE lL lL IE IN IT

  • Love the t-shirt!!

  • Wow, Freaking awesome!

...and a killer backing track! where can I get it? did you make it?

I'm gonna forward this on to anyone who says all squires are sh*t..hahaha

Thanks for being a huge inspiration!

  • soon you WILL be legend

  • F*****g awesome man. That lady is screaming for sure. Jimi would be proud.

    Robin :o)

  • Great as always! <3

You make that Squire really sing- congrats :)

  • DUDE!!!

  • Love all your work man. This is a good improv, but I prefer your Les Paul to be honest. But im not going to lie I like the sound of that guitar too. EMG's are nice. If you wanna try out a nice guitar get a Schecter with Duncan Design pickups, good heavy sound but still has a nice clean sound. Keep on rocking, waiting for more music from your band, Love see you in hell. You guys should write more like that song.
