@TheKith88 - Haha I just watched the whole thing. What I find funny is how all major motion picture movies are based on one thing. A prophecy of a person who brings peace and such. This is true with The Matrix "The One" - Star Wars "Anican Skywalker" - Harry Potter "Harry" - Lord of the Rings "Frodo" - The Lion King and so on. Its always one person that is widely known who brings some sort of change. And its crazy that these films all have its core based on the same thing.

One of my son's favorite films! (he's born in 1990, we had this on VHS tape, he watched it maybe when he was 6 or 7yrs old).

The Dark Crystal, a very WEIRD movie, always put me to sleep. "Little man" Michael wanted me to watch it with him, then he'd spend the entire movie JABBING ME to wake me up. It became our inside joke that when it's time for mom to go to sleep he's pop the Dark Crystal in the VCR. Thanks for posting the movie here. I'll share it with him, he'll get a kick out of it~

this fall will mark the 30th anniversary of this film. this is 1 of my faves and i thank god that it was made when it was using what was available. it would be sad to see a cgi version. people need that creative genius that was jim henson

Just turned 34 today and this is perhaps one of the greatest movies of my childhood. They don't make them like this anymore. The first note of the music gives me chills. If only Jim Henson were still with us
