I know this reply is REALLY late but to stop yuor life going down in the desert you need to drink a cold drink they normally supply you with them at the beginnign of a quest,.... hope this helps.

Just got done with my Kut Ku problems, and now I'm on to this guy! I can't seem to make my sonic bombs land and bring him out :\

I'll keep trying! Now that I've finally developed a decent strategy for killing the Kut Ku I think I can play this game without throwing my PSP out the window...

Woo! Finally found the tick xD If anyone's having trouble, try to force it to use it's sand breath/spit move. After getting it above the sand, just kind of stand a short ways in front of it, let it rear it's head up, jump to the side, then run to his neck and hack away. Rinse and repeat. Not so bad :D

dude beating a kut ku is easy no offense.

Just throw the sonic bomb right above him when he is under the sand then he will come up

ive got blue pants hunters vest and a vile serpentblade its immpossible for me my best friend has veilociprey armor full the same weapon and cant defeat a cephalos hes got bad timing

Personally, I find it much easier to fight a Cephadrome than a Kut-ku. I don't know why...good job though. Was that G-class? It seemed to have an awful lot more hp than usual.

What armor are you wearing? I have three pieces of cephalos armor and a dragon agito, so I'm not sure if I could take Cephadrome yet.

Okay, upgrade your armor to at least a mix of Battle and Kut-Ku armor, otherwise the Cephadrome will make light work of you.

Use your Agito+ and be sure to bring a lot of whetstones along.

Sonic Bombs:

Fire herb + Nitroshroom = Gunpowder

Gunpowder + Screamer (you can get screamers from fighting the Velocidrome of Kut-Ku)= Sonic Bombs.

Be sure to stand where you see this chap standing. For a quick match, bring Large and Small Barrel bombs = big damage. Hope this helped!

One more question though...are you able to get the rathalos armor, i mean sure i know that you need parts of the rathalos himself to make it...but...oh you probably already know what i mean..

hey cmndr am a noob i need to get items i have 1 peice of cephalos cuz i keep getin somtin else either than cephalos fin where around the body of a cephalos or chephadrome do you carve to get chephalos fin cuz i get mad cuz am never got more than one and i know am a newb i suck bad i have battle greaves cephalos torso and iron katana gospal just need 5 electro sack to get my iron cleaver
