pilotjake68 (the guy who posted this) works for me. It is my private plane. It runs off of human tears and Kool-aid tropical blast powdered drink mix. I am the head pilot. The plane goes where I say it goes. Sometimes, pilotjake says, "NO! You mad man, we'll be killed instantly." so I have to slap him around a little bit. Thats what the turbulence is all about. Ultimately if I say, "Go into that tornado.", into that tornado we shall go.
@jarlmaster47 Aircraft are designed to withstand lightning strikes, everything from a sailplane to a B747 can take a strike. Winds are more severe to an aircraft than lightning.
@jarlmaster47 I've been struck by lightning while flying...my game is not over, but it puts alot of static on the airframe and the radios can be hard to hear because of the static.
that's nothing! try taking off from Frankfurt Airport in the middle of a frikkin thunderstorm. the plane was shaking so much I thought it might have had hydraulics. I dug my nails so hard into the armrest that it had 2 inch deep scars in it. hahaha
airplanes do have hydraulics, it's what control their control surfaces (ailerons, rudder, flaps, elevators) just not the king your thinking of on cars!!!
