The left has historically fought for the little person, and has fought the good fight. The French revolution, labor rights, and human rights are all precursors to western Progressivism.

The left wants to take away our second ammendment, they want a nany state and more government control. They are all for bigger government while the conservatives want smaller government, that's the reson that Ron Paul is so popular. The right is all or capitalism, while the left is all for socialism (like China).

All centre-left movements are for the Mixed Economy you idiot. Which is what we have now. And Ron Paul isn't a conservative, he is a libertarian, and he is only popular with retards. If he was so popular he would have done better in the polls.
When it comes to our personal lives, we need the government to stay out, but the federal government has to be out their to provide basic services and to regulate the private economy.
