that IS NOT a 5.7. i cut the muffs off my tundra and it sounded ridiculous. yesterday i cut the rear two cats off to give some more power and it honest to god sounds like an fing race car when im WOT. there is no way this can be a 5.7. i wont say no way. people do stupid shit all of the time so i guess there could be a way. but i def doesnt sound like a 5.7. oh and i have 2 5" tips dumped.

@pfog Well then I really don't know what else to tell you except that I have never met anyone that put 5.7L badges on the 4.7L truck.. if you have owned 2 of them you should be able to tell the difference in the badges... and yeah people do stupid shit all of the time like making assumptions.....

@Scott04duramax and i wasnt basing my emphatic statement that it was a 4.7 on the badges. it sounds weak as hell. but i have had both of mine dumped w/ 5" tips right out of the muffler. and i do remember when i had my flowmasters on thinking that my buddy with a 5.3 silveradeo sounded so much better than mine. then i cut the mufflers off and it was no fing contest. then i cut the rear cats off and i could feel the power increase. dude you should cut your muffs off. you wont regret. promise.

@pfog the system has no real mufflers to it. It started off as a TRD cat back.. cut those mufflers out and added 26" chambered exhaust tubes and then an "H" pipe.. there's not much more to do to it though since I sold it about two weeks ago and now have a new project vehicle.

what engine ? 4.7 ? 5.7 ? or the new 4.6 ? size piping ? i have a first gen(2002 tundra) with the 4.7 and have yet to install my powersticks , magnaflow high flow cats , xpipe with trd headers all 2.5 piping . . let me kno sounds sick

hey their, i have a 07 tundra with magna flow exhaust, i didnt delete any cats though. Since im not very familiar with cars i wanted to ask what exactly is the outcome of deleting the 2rear cats ? or what do you suggest i do for a depper growl sound and add a lil more hp? thanks! .. also what exactly are hi performance cats? ive read many people delete the two rear and replace the fron ones with those.

@silverdiaz7 hey, man you asked about a deeper town for your truck? cut the muffs off. you will love it. it might hurt the mileage a bit but hey...the things we do for cars. i cut the rear 2 cats off and at times i love it and at times i dont like it. on this vid it kinda sounds like glass packs. it kinda does that on mine too at times. not all of the time by any means. i mean my truck sounds like an fing race car when i romp on it. cut the muffs off and dump it with 5" tips angled at the ground
