Yugoslav air defenses detected F-117s by operating their radars on unusually long wavelengths, making the aircraft visible to radar for brief periods. Typhoons are not the only ballistic missile submarines in russian fleet. They also has upgraded Delta3/Delta4 class subs with new SLBMs. Also Russia developed and build the most advanced "boomer" submarine today - Borei class (8 subs planned).
