What I have come to understand by the history of humanity and civilizations down falls is personal agenda. Evil is based on perception and what our individual belief is. Death for example is something we all, in ways, fear as we strive to avoid it. Becoming comfortable in the hands of those who feed us and true ignorance to our reality is evil.
Wrote "The Ancient Methods of Deception Used to Imprison the Soul" as a 7 page paper. Expanded into a book titled, The Satanic Lullaby aka "the conscious choice to remain ignorant". Deception, is the essence of Evil. The biggest choice humans make is our fundamental commitment to the truth, which inherently expands to include all possibilities. An arbitrary dismissal of a possibility, creates a fatal logic error, resulting in the mindfucked insanity to become Godforsaken Atheist/Satanist Nazis.
That is because there is nothing to understand. It is merely a personal agenda void of argument and reason yet stated as truth whose self-righteous design is little more than to belittle any ideas relevant to those persons, cultures, and times which make the perpetrator uncomfortable.
You missed the point. The point was that what people sometimes perceive as evil are just delusions caused by irrational fears: i.e. labeling things/ideas/people as evil that aren't. And that this delusatory ascription of evil exists in all segments of history including our own. And, finally, that the result of this generalized irrational fear and creation of bugbears of evil we will allow the removal of all personal privacy. I.e., if everyone is watched all the time, evil will cease.

Ok, makes sense. I guess evil is something that can change at all times.

In ancient times, this vt. narration begins - I'm wondering why this time locator is relevant as I reckon nothing is changed from ancient times.
.
In fact the only thing different between now and then is the time -which is a mortal construct anyway.
.
Often when I deal with friends and family, I feel 'transported to the dark ages' on hearing their interpretation of reality.
.
Cheers.

del-boy.
