False. Bahai schools were closed, Bahai marriages were not recognized and Bahai literature was censored. After your Shah had given a little more freedom to the Mullahs after his coup ousting Mossadegh, the Mullahs commenced an anti-Bahai campaign, including the spreading of anti-Bahai propaganda in national radio stations and official newspapers.

There are many more cases. The Shah was not for religious freedom for Bahais.

Our history is full of such abject notations and even continues in this modern world. Why? What gives any people the right to act ruthlessy to an optimistic cause, whether political or moral issues. History must stop repeating itself and that will only come once mankind focuses on the essence of the struggle. Islam awaits a Mahdi (saviour) yet they choose to destroy new hope. Is it not Islam 1530 years ago that faced similar rejection by Pagans. Impersonating ones enemy is an unworthy cause.

I was persecuted as a Baha'i back in Iran 40 years ago. If you notice, some of the pics here have been taken during the previous regime. Baha'is have been persecuted right from the inception of their Faith. But we believe Iran will one day be free of hatred and prejudice. I appreciate your goodly intentions and pure motives.
