@Swanbow Nop, ArmA 2 uses nearly all keyboard buttons and controller don't have so many buttons. Consoles are not powerfull enough to run ArmA 2 anyway.

Despite all the negative comments about the voice acting, I think they've done a pretty good job. Just goes to show how wide a range the backgrounds of those brave men who sign up to the British originate from, whether it be from Kent, Midlands, or the Grampians.

@JappyUK What you are referring to is Operation Arrowhead, the expansion pack that adds Takistan and the US Army. BAF is a DLC pack for Operation Arrowhead that lets you use British soldiers.

I own both ArmA 2, Operation Arrowhead, BAF and PMC. I know :)

I'm not exactly sure how that will work though, because some of the PMC and BAF missions use Takistan and Zargabad maps, and those are part of OA, not reinforcements.

@JappyUK Hmmm, this is not very easy to tell. You definitely need strong mutliple core. We do use Asus "Republic of Gamers" laptop and the gaming experience is really cool. We didnt´t test Arma 2 on any Samsung laptop so far :/

Hello, I am currently experimenting with the Warfare (OA) module. I have Combined Ops but none of the DLCs. I'm wondering how I can change the factions in Warfare (I want for example CDF vs. Takistani Army) but I cannot seem to get the configs right. Is there a config I need to set, such as BIS_WF_Common SetVariable ["WestFactions",[Localize "STR_FN_CDF"]]?

There is no documentation on the wiki for Warfare Module, I assume it's possible because of the BAF vs ChDkZ mission

Arma 2 is a complex military simulator with very comprehensive list of options and activities (controls, environment, game play, etc). Arma 2 is definitely different kind of game - it´s not a action FPS, however it is fun - you can create your own missions, download tons of free addons and content online, etc.

well ive played this game and yes its mearly a game but why are all the campains always on the ground I prefer to fly helos and would love a campain were the player is the pilot so much more fun seeing as the AI npcs struggle to fly he says poking the pilot npc in the begining part of the british campain who is a tad heavy on his cyclic its minut movements not thrash it about like theres no tommorow *cough* 8 man section so 8X2=16 get it right please those lannys can hold 8 you know :P

@cripticstone Hello, did you buy Operation Arrowhead or British Armed Forces? A2OA patch v 1.54 did include BAF Lite - free version of all models, weapons, vehicles etc in low texture version with low quality sounds. LITE does not include BAF´s SP campaign.

To play the BAF SP campaign and in full details you need to buy separate BAF.

I just saw what the units look like, i really am quite shocked. I think people would have preferred if you had just not bothered including them at all. It makes perfect sense to give the units away for free if you were to care about keeping the online community intact. If the expansion was any good people would buy it for the campaign, unfortunately you have yet to create a decent single player experience. As advanced as it may be, your AI just doesn't work.

@iamgreatish Hello - are you asing why you can´t start campaing with British Armed Forces faction in Operation Arrowhead?

If so - please make sure you have bought this DLC. Because the latest patch allows you to use the british models in MP games, but in the low-res textures. You need to buy the DLC in order to use them in hi-res or play the new SP campaign.
