@param3333 Great that u accepted the truth:). "Virtue, wealth, love and liberation" are the topics in kural. Only three sections Arathuppaal, Porutpaal and Kaamathuppaal found. He left out Moksha or liberation, for the simple reason that when the first three are set in order, the final state of God-realisation is attained naturally. He also recognised that liberation(Moksha) is to be realised, not just discussed.Its written b4 caste system introduced in TN. Kural 134 is education's significance.

You do not know Tamil. maRappinum- even if forgotten oththukoLalaagum- possible to learn paarpaan- vedic brahmans piRappu- birth ozukkam- discipline kunRak- diminish kedum- ruined. @param3333. Where is ur God/Goddesses names mentioned? in the 2 examples which u suggested. Thiruvalluvar has not mentioned a single word about God in his 1330 couplets. He has simply taken a few outstanding qualitities attributed to God for the purpose of explaining. Even in that, he has abstained from describing god in a definite form. When such is the greatness of Kural, it cannot be said that Kural is not useful to make the people tread the right path. u might get help from ur swamijis:)

@param3333 You are quoting Suddhanandha Bharathiyaar's translations, I know. It is meant for foreigners to portray kuRaL's appeal. It is not precise for that reason. See what he says about 610, 617 etc. These are dangers in relying on translations! I am convinced you do not know to read Tamil!
