  • how you have 1080 P? i got only 480 on youtube:( can you tell me how i grow up the quality??

  • i have this camera but you cant buy other lens for it

  • Sorry dude, I don´t know camtasia....

  • seriously - nice screen and all - but why does the video give some shaking... like at the end of the video where you are driving to the left - if you watch closely you can see the image skip a little bit within every few seconds... why is that? is that fixable? I am looking for something affordable but it has to have SMOOTH / FLUID capturing

  • does this camera have autofocus?

  • if i am going to film fast moving cars (in a car at race track) is the picture blur if i use the max resolution and max 30fps or should i use lower, vga 640x480 with max 60fps?

  • The definition is amazing!!!!!

  • does this come with an accu or with reloadable batteries?

  • but? i cant edit it in windows movie maker it is in wrong file format please help!

  • @MrHugowfb forget about windows movie maker! Check out Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere...if you really want to go into stuff of creating professional movies with a small budget I can recommend you the basic training on my blog (nextlevelcinema)

next podcast will be published in a few days, so follow me on twitter or add me on facebook! Its the second episode, the third ones maintopic will be software ;)

  • @sucksul thanks alot! i got another question, i dont have a memory card to mine yet, so know i just can film like 5 sec, is that normal?

Cous im buying a 8gb SDHC card! how long will that be able to film?

Whats best settings for my camera to get best quality?

    Thanks

  • @sucksul only vegas and premiere?

can i edit this in camtasia ?

  • @sucksul MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus ... is far better

  • @MrHugowfb I´m using a SanDisk 4GB SDHC and a Transcend 4GB SDHC. Never had problems with this setup. Not sure about your 5 sec problem, but in my opinion there is no internal memory, so five seconds sound great :)

Check it out with an SDHC card and really think about to go for an HD-DSLRs. In my podcast I recommend the 5D MK II, but you also can go for the Canon 550D. It is much cheaper and will help you out in a professional way!

  • @sucksul but how long will a SanDisk 8GB SDHC able to record? should i film in HD or DvD mode or something?

I got the Aiptek AHD C100

  • @MrHugowfb Obviously u got to convert it to avi or wmv, but it's recommended to eventually move on to Adobe Premiere, or Sony Vegas

  • hey all you videomakers out there!

I just did bought home this cam, but when it arrived i notice i just could film in 5 sec.

Is it like this on all aiptek ahd c100 cams? cous im buying a 8gb SDHC!

    Will that solve my problem?

    Thanks!

    Please answer

  • @MrHugowfb go for the HD resolution! one minute is about 52 MB, so you should can go for 2,5 hours with 8GB...but only if your battery can handle this ;)

  • @sucksul dude, u are the best! <3

  • @sucksul anyways, i know u wont answer this or? can u send me a link on youtube on a guide for a working crack on Adobe edit things?

  • @sucksul i got another question! u know any converter that makes the video dont lose quality?

  • Nice video

  • nice

  • nice

  • Is it better or worse than the Kodak zi6???

  • Don´t know the Kodak...For me this cam is a good deal, because I use it normally in situations where bad things can happen to your camera and even for 3D (two of them). For professionals I would recommend a 5D MK II

  • How is it possible that you have 1080 p it only records 720 p , am I right?

  • i want a fisheye for my aiptek ahd c100 but there is no fisheye for it can some one tell me how to make one ?

  • i only got one with 720 p :D

  • wow das bild sieht verdammt gut aus für eine unter 100 euro cam. wow.

  • I have same one, but how did you render this video?

  • Just rendered it out of Premiere as a mov-file (quicktime).

  • Do you have to buy a memory stick?

  • It works with SD-Cards!

  • Ok, thank you.

  • isn't it just SDHC?

  • Good image, bad sound.

The sound quality is not 100% but its alright

  • 5-10 years ago,this camera would be WORTH $1000.:)

  • Its amazing, a HD camcorder now is equivilent to a studio camera in the 90's

  • =]]

  • How do I put my videos on my computer? I can only put images on

  • If you connect the cam via the USB interface to your computer, you should be able to put the files via Drag & Drop to your desktop.

  • I can't though because it only gives me the option to import photos could you please tell me how to drag and drop?

  • Hey there, can you edit this on Windows move maker?

    Thanks Chris

  • yes you can. I use some of my film production with win movie maker, its cool

  • just ordered this one from ebay - 50 e, new. Even without image stabilization I think this is a good deal.

  • Choppy video...No image stabilization I assume :(

  • This costs what? 120-130$ and it has this quality???? F*ck *runs out the front door to store*

  • canon 780is take better video in my opinion.

  • this is a great little camera, no moving inside, parts means less to go wrong, im amazed what the Aiptek does for $130 from Kmart. i attach mine to my motorbike and get some great videos.

  • probably gonna be my first camera ever!!

    so cheap and performable

  • Ottima camera

  • lovely, this is a 90$ cam!

  • verry nice quality but low fps :(

  • Can I plug it in the back of my dvd palyer and it will record?

  • Beautiful footage!

  • Tryed to do my best :-)

  • how long did your AHD C100 take to charge up on its first charge? and did it have a red LED light on it to tell u if its charging? mine didnt tell me in the instructions how long to charge for and has no light on top, its frustrating me :(

  • Can´t remember how long the first charge was...in my opinion I put in on over night. Not sure, but wait till the LED light is out or green.

  • great vid, i'm getting one of these cams soon so thanks for the demo =)

  • That quality is like 3.2mpix web cam :S

  • Just kidding, nice quality..

  • getting mine tomorrow :D thanks for taster. I like the audio:)

  • thanks :-) I don´t know your budget and the aiptek is a superb location scout camera. But if you are interested in producing high class film look styles, go for an Canon 5D MK II. There is no other camera out there which will offer you such a look except you will spend 40.000 $. This is the perfect 3.000 $ deal!!!

  • what software did you use to edit the movie olease reply thanks.

  • all edited in premiere cs3. No color correction!

    Cheers,

    Frank

  • Still cant believe this is from the C100 :D I ordered mine today =D

  • The camera is not worth buying.

It's broken very easilly and has problems with going on and off than.

Also it gets stuck and the shop who sold it isnt giving any reply and we bought 2 cuz we tought it was because we let it fall this one didnt fell and is also broken!!!

    DONT BUY IT!!!

The camera isnt that good anyway!

  • Never said that you have to buy it. For a professional production I would prever a HVX200, EX3 or RED. But if you want buy a pocket cam to shot some interesting footage, to check out some locations or in non-professional way for example, the aiptek is one of the best deals on the market ;-)

  • chemicaltrails in sky!

  • Aiptek AHD Z600 is better though, even if it costs 110 bux more it's worth it.

  • i just ordered the Aiptek PocketDV AHD C100, is it good? the footage looks good.

  • if you like the footage, you will like the cam! I can not understand why some people are dissapointed abou the zoom and the sound. Yes it both bad (the sound not as bad as i expected)! But the look is great and for the money it is the best deal on the market! For a professional production a cam for 500 to 1000 bugs also does not offering enough sound performance....So whats the problem!?

  • I got the camera and shot a movie, then i installed the driver cd on my laptop. i use Pinnacle studio 12 Ultimate and when i want to import the files via the software it says that i need to set it to VTR og VCR or PLAY modus.. and when i put the cable in the camera i get the options: PC Cam, Disk or Printer.. got any tips so i can import the files into studio 12?

  • Go for Premiere CS3...don´t know what is the reason for your problem, but never used pinnacele software. Maybe try to import it via Disc or PC Cam...hope that will work!

  • no its converted to 25fps

  • does not look 30 fps :(
