seriously - nice screen and all - but why does the video give some shaking... like at the end of the video where you are driving to the left - if you watch closely you can see the image skip a little bit within every few seconds... why is that? is that fixable? I am looking for something affordable but it has to have SMOOTH / FLUID capturing
if i am going to film fast moving cars (in a car at race track) is the picture blur if i use the max resolution and max 30fps or should i use lower, vga 640x480 with max 60fps?
@MrHugowfb forget about windows movie maker! Check out Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere...if you really want to go into stuff of creating professional movies with a small budget I can recommend you the basic training on my blog (nextlevelcinema)
next podcast will be published in a few days, so follow me on twitter or add me on facebook! Its the second episode, the third ones maintopic will be software ;)
@MrHugowfb I´m using a SanDisk 4GB SDHC and a Transcend 4GB SDHC. Never had problems with this setup. Not sure about your 5 sec problem, but in my opinion there is no internal memory, so five seconds sound great :)
Check it out with an SDHC card and really think about to go for an HD-DSLRs. In my podcast I recommend the 5D MK II, but you also can go for the Canon 550D. It is much cheaper and will help you out in a professional way!
@MrHugowfb go for the HD resolution! one minute is about 52 MB, so you should can go for 2,5 hours with 8GB...but only if your battery can handle this ;)
Don´t know the Kodak...For me this cam is a good deal, because I use it normally in situations where bad things can happen to your camera and even for 3D (two of them). For professionals I would recommend a 5D MK II
this is a great little camera, no moving inside, parts means less to go wrong, im amazed what the Aiptek does for $130 from Kmart. i attach mine to my motorbike and get some great videos.
how long did your AHD C100 take to charge up on its first charge? and did it have a red LED light on it to tell u if its charging? mine didnt tell me in the instructions how long to charge for and has no light on top, its frustrating me :(
thanks :-) I don´t know your budget and the aiptek is a superb location scout camera. But if you are interested in producing high class film look styles, go for an Canon 5D MK II. There is no other camera out there which will offer you such a look except you will spend 40.000 $. This is the perfect 3.000 $ deal!!!
It's broken very easilly and has problems with going on and off than.
Also it gets stuck and the shop who sold it isnt giving any reply and we bought 2 cuz we tought it was because we let it fall this one didnt fell and is also broken!!!

I would never buy this camera. Its to plastic, very bad feeling. As you see the quality is very bad. If you like the quality, its not because its good, its because you havent seen how good sh*t looks like.
If you want a good camera, buy Canon HF10. If you dont wanna put that amount of money in a camera, then buy Panasonic SD5. Its price worthy.
Never said that you have to buy it. For a professional production I would prever a HVX200, EX3 or RED. But if you want buy a pocket cam to shot some interesting footage, to check out some locations or in non-professional way for example, the aiptek is one of the best deals on the market ;-)
if you like the footage, you will like the cam! I can not understand why some people are dissapointed abou the zoom and the sound. Yes it both bad (the sound not as bad as i expected)! But the look is great and for the money it is the best deal on the market! For a professional production a cam for 500 to 1000 bugs also does not offering enough sound performance....So whats the problem!?
I got the camera and shot a movie, then i installed the driver cd on my laptop. i use Pinnacle studio 12 Ultimate and when i want to import the files via the software it says that i need to set it to VTR og VCR or PLAY modus.. and when i put the cable in the camera i get the options: PC Cam, Disk or Printer.. got any tips so i can import the files into studio 12?
Go for Premiere CS3...don´t know what is the reason for your problem, but never used pinnacele software. Maybe try to import it via Disc or PC Cam...hope that will work!
how you have 1080 P? i got only 480 on youtube:( can you tell me how i grow up the quality??

MBGamingLegends 2 years ago
If you connect the cam via the USB interface to your computer, you should be able to put the files via Drag & Drop to your desktop.

I can't though because it only gives me the option to import photos could you please tell me how to drag and drop?
