  • What language is this?

  • I heard these guys once, and the translated said that this song is about fast horses and beautiful women...

  • A black-brown runner horse runs like lightning through the endless black steppe.

The black hair of a beautiful girl is moving in the wind. In the sunset light of the steppe,

the black-brown running horse can run like lightning.

The black hair of a beautiful girl, moving in the wind.

(Found this, it says its the english translation of dyngyldai. Not my info)

  • @jrmhrpr

i think that the song is making fun of someone... the dyngyldai is sort of a silly made up word ... i think...

at least that was how i understood it when i researched it after hearing Huun Huur Tu version

  • @theholy0 Cool, thanks for the response. I purchased their cd online! Its really good stuff. I just wish I could speak the language now. =/

  • What does "Alash" mean? thanks~~

  • Alash is the name of a river in Tuva. The name comes from the Tuvan word alazhylannyr meaning "whispering" in a non-verbal sense.

  • holy moly 49 ,50 this song boiled my pure turkic blood salute to great sky and plain terrain salute to top of god mountain our heaven :) uralic altaic turkic pride is alive . god bless turks

  • cool song. does anyone know what dyngyldai means?

  • dyngyldai is a word that can be translated as... dyngyldai

  • lol thanks, but what is it? a place? a name?

  • Dyngyldai is a funny song that guy is making fun of his friend, Bora, Dyngyldai is Dingilday in Modern Turkish, still used to describe the horse running in a childish way. The axle of the car is called dingil. But dyngyldai as a word means nothing. Just a nonsense term, Singer is just making fun of Bora for being good-for-nothing.

  • Dingildoh or Dingildak in modern Turkish... Not dingilday...

  • Comment removed

  • @IIGECKOII dyngyldai is like a word "dıngılday" in some accent of turkish (turkey), means "something swinging", it can be a cradle, a swing or a rocker chair. but maybe it has a special meaning in the language of the song. i guess they are siberian.
