Hey retards! This came from the designer at bio ware. I saw that full, finished clip when I played mass effect 3. The helmet is a new helmet that they incorporated into mass effect 3. Precursors are massive arthropods, and the last featured in Cryptum and Primodium was actually a flood gravemind, either composed of a bunch of precursors or just one, and it was put through a stasis field, aged serveral billion years and disintegrated. Precursors are done with. Could be forerunner, but their noticeably different from humans. My best guess is a Spartan with forerunner tech, probably a spartan 4, which have been confirmed in Halo:Glasslands.

Most likely the purple model is a Spartan 4. I can prove this because in the Halo 4 trailer in the beam pulling the Forward Unto Dawn into the planet had other ships in it. One of them being the UNSC Infinity, which if you read the wiki was built in secret and carried Spartan 4s. The Spartan 4s were not kidnapped children like before, they are volunteers from all branches of military. So there you go.

Perhaps in this seen, the Human/Forerunner thing was using technology or something that happened to him, to attack a UNSC clan on the forerunner planet. The marine with the scout helmet was perhaps just using whatever things they had left.

@PoeticRenegade I think the "Timeless One" from the Forerunner saga would be more of a player than Sentinels and Huragok at this point. The setting is most likely "Trevelyan", a UNSC research station in a forerunner dyson sphere. Would explain the forerunner environments being released by 343 and the weird powers for a Halo game. Short history, the "Timeless One" is a precursor, a race evolved that was superior to the Forerunners. So it could have gotten on the sphere easily.
