Vor 6000 Jahren gab es noch keine Kurden im heutigen Sinne des Wortes. In historischen Quellen war „Kurde“ lediglich ein Sammelbegriff für Bergvölker unterschiedlicher Herkunft und Sprache. Es ist absolut falsch, die heutigen Kurden mit dem in historischen Quellen als „Kurden“ betitelten multiethnischen Bergvölkern gleichzusetzen. Die Urheimat der Kurden ist nicht mit derer der Indoeuropäer gleichzusetzen. Die Kurden stammen nicht aus Zentralasien.
